Corporate Life Service Operations Associate
Job Purpose:
The job holder will be responsible for
ensure effective administration of group life and credit life business.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation
of renewal invites.
- Prompt
processing of renewal and initial costing and communication of medical
underwriting requirements for members above the free cover limit.
- Participation
in credit control meetings.
- Client
visits and conducting member education.
- Promote
relationship management with intermediaries and clients.
- Ensure
accuracy in costing and debit/credit notes.
- Ensure
efficiency in data management.
- Administration
of combined solution i.e. Group Life & GPA/WIBA policies.
- Attend
renewal meetings and advise on enhancements.
- Sign
off SLA’s & Service Agreements with direct clients &
intermediaries.
- Sign
off Intermediary Profit Sharing Arrangements (IPSA) with identified
intermediaries.
- Generate
and dispatch periodic customer statements.
- Generate
reports for policies due for renewal.
- Prompt
handling of queries from intermediaries and direct clients.
- Prepare
reports as and when required.
- Perform
any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- Delegated
Authority: As per the approved Delegated Authority Matrix.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s
degree in a business related field.
- Professional
studies in insurance – AIIK or ACII.
- 6-
8 years successful insurance experience; 2 of which should be in a
supervisory position.
Technical/ Functional competencies:
- Knowledge
of group life service operations.
- Knowledge
of insurance industry and concepts.
- Planning
and organization skills.
