Carpentry Technician
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry
out maintenance and carpentry work
- Operate
carpentry and joinery equipment
- Prepare
learning materials and carry out instructions to learners during practical
lessons.
- Keep
inventory and records of all tools and equipment.
- Ensure
maintenance and compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
- Offer
technical support in workshops and determine equipment specifications for
the workshops.
- Any
other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or authorized personnel
Qualifications
- Diploma
in Building Technology or other relevant disciplines
- Craft
Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery will be an added advantage
- At
least one year experience in a reputable carpentry workshop
- Ability
to read and interpret relevant drawings
- Computer
literacy will be an added advantage
