looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Job Brief Description
Reporting to Senior Manager – Large Enterprise & Public,
The Technical sales manager is responsible for the successful development and
sales of ICT/IOT and integrated solutions in the marketplace including turnkey
solutions, emerging technologies, and complex solutions development.
The role holder will
constantly engage key stakeholders at the customer end to gather requirements,
identify areas of optimization and develop solution propositions aligned to
customer needs.
Detailed Description
- Drive
penetration of Managed Services, ICT Services and IoT Services through
product development, solution development and positioning with enterprise
customers.
- Provide
Thought and Industry Leadership in assigned domains; ICT, IoT, Integrated
Payments, Digital Interactions, Managed Connectivity Services, Cyber
Security, Cloud Services, VAS
- Develop
and manage new business with the existing scope of products and services
to meet and exceed set revenue targets.
- Perform
requirements gathering and assessment of existing platform.
- Apply
specific experience to design solutions for enterprise customers.
- Support
solution pricing by advising on scope and cost of providing the designed
solution.
- Prepare
and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level
audiences.
- Business
and technical liaison for the solution sales connecting Safaricom product
development, vendor development, and client needs.
- Drive
enterprise revenue via direct sales engagement; Identify and create
opportunities and solutions in new markets and support Go to market
strategy
- Liaise
with cross functional teams and partners to develop new propositions for
customers.
- Build
domain expertise and specialization in ICT/IOT service
Qualification
- Must
have a Business/IT/Telecoms related degree and relevant postgraduate/professional
certifications in either Cloud, Cyber Security or IoT
- At
least 3 years’ work experience in relevant area of ICT industry and
ability to manage high level executive business engagement and
Coordination.
- Ability
to use technical acumen, strategy consulting skills, business knowledge,
stipulated processes, measurements, and tools to analyze issues and drive
solutions to transform the client’s business.
- Is
a thought leader in their Product Solution area of focus and can apply
that knowledge in customer situations.
- Demonstrated
ability to architect solutions by mapping customer business problems to
end-to-end technology solutions.
- Proven
track record of successful engagement, management from concept to
implementation phase and delivery of revenue goals
- Should
have a passion for the customer that has been demonstrated through
professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer
experience.
- Demonstrate
the ability to coordinate various objectives from multiple internal
divisions to drive value for our customers.
- Ability
to deliver presentations to management and executive level audiences.
- Program/Project
Management Experience in complex projects.
