Responsibilities
This will be the entry
and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the
guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities at this level will
entail:- capturing data on budget estimates for The County; checking cost of
projects and programmes to align them to county financial statistics and
classification of the functions of the County assisting in quality control of
budget estimates; assisting in processing reallocation of estimates proposals;
preparing initial reports and briefs on budgetary issues; capturing data on
budget proposals; checking cost of projects and programmes to align them to GFS
and COFOG; assisting in budget monitoring and expenditure control; assisting in
processing of expenditure reallocations within the budget; and assisting users
to capture budget data and run reports in the Hyperion Budget Planning System.
Qualifications
Requirements for
Appointment For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s
degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce (Finance or Accounts
option), Business Administration, Business Management or equivalent
qualification from a recognized institution; and
- Certificate
in computer applications
