Job description
Our client is an importer and manufacturer of premium
kitchen and wardrobe furniture. They have been serving the Kenyan market for 15
years. They seek to hire a presentable and eloquent lady to fill an Admin
Assistant position. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing
general coordination of office activities.
Responsibilities
- Manning
the front office. Meeting and greeting clients
- Answering
calls, taking messages and handling correspondence
- Maintaining
diaries and arranging appointments
- Typing,
preparing and collating reports
- filing
- Organising
and servicing meetings (producing agendas and taking minutes)
- Managing
databases
- Prioritising
workloads
- Implementing
new procedures and administrative systems
- Liaising
with relevant organisations and clients
- Coordinating
mail-shots and similar publicity tasks
- Logging
or processing bills or expenses
Qualifications
- At
least 2 years’ experience in a fast paced work environment.
- Diploma
in business Administration or other relevant field.
- Must
be Smart, presentable, confident and have great interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge
of office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent
time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- The
ability to work well as part of a team.
