Position: Accounts Assistant

Job description
Our client is an animal feeds manufacturer and wholesaler
based in Nakuru
The business is looking for an Accounts Assistant to create
long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Assistant’s
role is to ensure correct entries are made in the system and all payments
received by the company are receipted.
The accounts assistant will also be in charge of over the
counter sales of agrovet supplies at the company’s shop.
Responsibilities
- Serve
as the point of contact for all customers coming to the shop
- Build
and maintain strong client relationships
- Daily
reconciliation of the cash account
- Ensure
the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs
and objectives
- Cross
Selling various products to our existing clients
- Maintain
inventory records for the agrovet shop
- Daily,
monthly and quarterly record keeping of sales order book
- Collaborate
with accountant, production and sales team to identify and resolve issues
as well as ensure excellent service delivery
- Any
other duties as assigned by the Managing and Operations Director
Qualifications
- Diploma
in business, animal health ,marketing or related field.
- Certification
from the Kenyan Veterinary Board
- Proficient
with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience
delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven
ability to juggle multiple tasks, while maintaining sharp attention to
detail
- Excellent
organizational skills.
- Ability
to flourish with minimal guidance, proactive and possess problem solving
skills
- Must
be a team player
