Saham Assurance wishes to recruit
suitable candidates for the following positions which exist in our Medical
Department.
Head of Medical Business
The Head of Medical will be
responsible for the overall management of the operations and functions of the
Medical Department.
The job holder will be required to
oversee the operational efficiency of the Medical Department in order to meet
customer expectations and also achieve revenue growth targets and
profitability.
Key Deliverables:
·
Develop and monitor the growth
strategy for the Medical business in line with the overall company strategy
·
Improve and update procedures and
processes in the department to ensure excellent delivery of services.
·
Ensure accuracy in quotations and
proper underwriting
·
Effective claims management to ensure
proper vetting and prompt settlement.
Requirements:
Applicant should have:
·
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
·
ACII/AIIK
·
At least 8 years’ experience in
Medical Insurance Administration with at least three years in a supervisory
level.
Medical Underwriting Manager
The Medical Underwriting Manager will be responsible for
supervising and managing of all underwriting processes, member education and
maintaining of relationships with clients and intermediaries.
Key Deliverables:
·
Overseeing accurate and timely
setting up of new business schemes & renewals in the system
·
Ensure timely preparation of policy
documents, endorsements, debits and credits
·
Champion the renewal process and
ensure retention of existing business
·
Build and maintain relationships with
clients and intermediaries for retention and business growth
Requirements:
Applicant should have:
·
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
·
Insurance Diploma or ACII Credits
·
Technical Competence in underwriting
Insurance skills
·
At least 8 years’ experience in
Medical Insurance Administration
