Kenyan Citizen;
- Must
have attended a two-year certificate course in any of the following
fields: Agriculture, Food technology, Agriculture and Economics or other
relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Have
a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade of C- (minus)
or its equivalent.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Provision
of agricultural engineering works, services and mechanization extension
Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, one must:-

- Be a
Kenyan Citizen;
- Have
a Diploma in a field of Agriculture engineering, mechanical
engineering/mechanization/farm power or any other relevant qualification
from a recognized institution.
OR
- Technician
Part III certificate in field of Agriculture engineering,
Mechanization/Farm Power or any other relevant equivalent qualification
from a recognized institution.

Assistant Engineer
II
JG “K”
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Collating
and compiling data for irrigation planning;
- Organizing
farmers meeting for irrigation participatory development;
- Setting
up of demonstration plots;
- Identifying
irrigation schemes for development;
- Implementing
irrigation action plans and
- Undertaking
feasibility studies and preliminary investigations.
Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, one must:-
For appointment to this grade, one must:-
- Be a
Kenyan Citizen;
- Bachelor’s
degree in any of the following disciplines: – Agricultural Engineering,
Agricultural and Bio-systems Engineering, Soil, Water and Environmental
Engineering, Environmental and Bio-systems Engineering, Biomechanical and
Processing Engineering or Soil and Water Engineering from a recognized
institution;
- Been
registered by Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a graduate Engineer;
and
- Certificate
in computer application from a recognized institution

(Irrigation)

baseline data for irrigation planning;
- Organizing
farmers meetings for irrigation participatory development and
- Identifying
sites for irrigation technology demonstration plots.

Technician Part III Certificate in any of the following disciplines: –
Agricultural Engineering, Soil and Water Engineering, Irrigation or Surveying

Diploma in any of the following disciplines: – Agricultural Engineering,
Soil and Water Engineering, Irrigation or Surveying from a recognized
institution; and
- Have
a Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution

Principal
Cooperative Auditor
JG “N”
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Consolidating
primary audit reports/queries on societies’ financial statements;
- Reviewing
and following-up of audit work emanating from the field
- Directing
and conducting audit inspections of societies’ records;
- Monitoring
and reviewing implementation of audit programmes;
- Compiling
data on periodical financial returns, estimates of income and expenditure;
- Collecting,
collating, evaluating and documenting audit evidence and
- Ascertaining
the adequacy of co-operative societies internal control systems including
computer systems
Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, one must:-
For appointment to this grade, one must:-
- Be a
Kenyan Citizen;
- Have
served in the grade of Chief Co-operative Auditor or in a comparable and
relevant position in the Public Service for a minimum period of three (3)
years;
- Have
a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Commerce
(Accounting/Finance option), Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business
Administration or Co-operative Management from a recognized institution
and Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a
recognized institution;
OR
- Certified
Public Accounts (CPA) Kenya Part III or Certified Internal Auditors (CIA)
Part IV from a recognised institution and Management course not lasting
less than four (4) weeks from a recognised institution;
OR
- Diploma
in any of the following disciplines:-Co-operative Management, Co-operative
Auditing, Internal Auditing or Finance from a recognized institution and
Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized
institution;
- Certificate
in computer applications from a recognized institution; and
- Demonstrated
a high degree of professional competence and administrative capability
