Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:
·
Have a Bachelor’s Degree in any of
the fields; Business Administration Economics, Finance, Marketing and Social
Sciences or any other related course from a recognized institution;
·
Have Master’s degree in the fields
above or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution will be an
added advantage;
·
Have a minimum of five (5) years
relevant work experience OR have served in the grade of Senior partnership and
Collaboration Officer for a minimum period of three (3) Years;
·
Have a Certificate in Management
Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;

contracts that relate to partnerships and collaborations;

Monitoring and evaluating of the

and initiatives relating to youth

Identifying, establishing and
maintaining a database for all youth group, youth focused community-based
organizations, NGOS, and civil societies. movements and other organizations
undertaking activities and initiatives relating to youth;

Regulation and coordination of
activities and initiatives relating to youth and being undertaken by youth
groups, youth focused community-based organization, non-governmental
organization, civil society, movements and other organizations;
·
Establishing and maintaining a
database on all existing policies and legislations affecting the youth;
·
Lobbying for review where necessary
of existing policies & strategies and legislation on issues affecting the
youth;
·
Facilitating the periodic review of
the national youth policy in line with other government policy statements;
·
Identify existing forms of abuse and
manipulation for youth to inform policy decisions.
·
Initiate the formulation of
operational guidelines that protect the youth against any form of abuse or
manipulation;
·
Developing programmes that will
provide and promote leadership to the youth sector and on all youth serving
civil societies;
·
Spearhead monitoring, evaluating and
reporting on the efficiency of the registration and coordination process;

following disciplines: – Survey, Planning, Economics/Statistics, Business

and priorities;
·

institutions for collaboration on research and development issues;

agencies for research on the Council activities;

Assist in drafting data collection
instruments;
·
Assist in maintaining an inventory
and documentation of relevant research; and administering instruments,
collecting, collating, and processing statistical data.
