Resolution Insurance) that we offer to our customers and the public. Our loan
offerings include Insurance Premium Financing, Mobile cash, Salaried Personal
Loans, Asset financing, Broker financing and Invoice discounting.
Credit Admin Officer
The Credit Admin Officer’s overall
purpose is to take primary responsibility of the growth and the quality of the
loan book by ensuring that proper framework exist to support quality lending
and loan repayment.
The job holder will take
responsibility of the loan book right from approval to follow up on repayment
and ensuring that all arrears are addressed accordingly while mitigating
against any form of credit risk to the organization.
Key Responsibility Areas:
1. Loan processing and approvals
2. Ensuring quality of the loan book
through aggressive follow up on instalment payment.
3. Ensure effective loan collection
and default management.
4. Timely suspension of overdue
accounts.
5. Liaising with the insurer on
account termination for non-performing accounts.
6. Timely lifting of accounts made
good.
7. Maintaining records of terminated
accounts with correct balances.
8. Follow up of prorate refunds from
the insurer for cancelled policies.
9. Maintaining an up to date records
of the loan book.
10. Enhance the client experience
through accurate and timely resolution of client issues.
11. Develop and update lending
manuals and ensure staffs are trained on the same.
12. Ensure compliance with the
lending policies and guidelines across the credit team.
13. Ensure frequent and timely
periodic formal and informal reporting
14. Custodianship of the loan
processing documents.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential
·
Bachelor’s degree in finance,
banking, economics, statistics or related field.
·
Credit certification will be an added
advantage
·
At least 3 years’ credit experience
in a financial institution
·
Candidates with experience in the
microfinance sector will have an added advantage.

Accountant
The Account’s overall purpose is to
consolidate the account operations to ensure efficiency and timeliness in the
accounting duties with the objective of impacting the bottom-line positively.
The jobholder is expected to monitor
the bank and Mpesa statements on a daily basis, flag out all bounced cheques
and advise on account suspension while equally advising on lifting of accounts
made good. Bank reconciliation will be done on a monthly basis as well as
handling the monthly payables and receivables in addition to the budgets and
management accounts.
Key
Responsibility Areas;
1. Preparation of monthly management
accounts.
2. Timely and up to date bank
reconciliations.
3. Preparation of audit schedules
both for internal and external audit.
4. Processing the monthly payments
and maintaining an up to date and accurate payables accounts.
5. Maintaining the receivables
accounts and ensuring prompt receipt of all receivables.
6. Daily monitoring of the bank and
Mpesa statements and maintaining an up to date and accurate schedules of the
debits and credits.
7. Generating a daily list of the
clients whose instalments have not been honored.
8. Confirming payment for suspended
accounts and advising credit on suspension lifting.
9. Ensuring that the necessary
charges have been levied and paid before account lifting.
10. Regular remittance of cash to the
Insurance companies for the premium financed.
11. Maintaining optimal cash balances
in the account and avoiding idle cash.
12. Ensuring that all the tax
obligations are complied with fully.
13. Ensuring all premium
underpayments are fully recovered on a monthly basis.

Qualifications
and Experience:
Essential
·
Bachelor’s degree in finance,
banking, economics, statistics or related field.
·
At least CPA section IV.
·
2-3 years accounting experience
involving budgeting, bank reconciliation and preparation of financial
statements.
·
Candidates with experience in the
banking or insurance sector will have an added advantage.
