The group seeks to recruit professionals for the following positions:
Job Title: Orthopaedic Clinical Officer
Positions: 1
Job Location: Kisii

Work Type: Full time.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·         History taking and physical examination of patients with orthopedic conditions.
·         Diagnosis and management of patients with orthopedic conditions in both O.P.D and I.P.D.
·         Participate in orthopedic camps and community screening services.
·         Counsel clients on compliance to treatment in O.P.D/I.P.D
·         Order investigations for the orthopedic patients.
·         Offer health education to clients, staffs and the community.
·         Ensure appropriate referral of patients for senior consultation.
Job Requirements:
·         BSc. Clinical Medicine & Surgery or Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery.
·         Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery (Orthopaedics & Trauma)
·         At least 1 year post-qualification experience.
·         Registered with the Clinical Officers Council with a current practicing license.
·         Computer proficiency and experience with Hospital Information Management System (HMIS)

Job Title: Laboratory Technologists
Job Location: Kisii, Nyamira
Work Type: Full time.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·         Receiving, verifying and processing of specimens
·         Timely release of accurate, precise and reproducible results
·         Archiving of specimens and records as per laboratory SOPS.
·         Proper Management of laboratory equipment by doing daily routine maintenance, calibration and quality control.
·         Proper Management of laboratory reagents and consumables as per laboratory SOPS
·         Participation in EQA and other quality assurance programs.
·         Creation and Maintenance of Laboratory documents and records
·         Carrying out Blood transfusion procedures
·         Compliance with relevant policies and procedures including but not limited to those related to safety and infection control.
Qualification and Requirements.
·         Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution.
·         Must be registered by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board with a current practicing license
·         Knowledge and experience in different laboratory disciplines especially hematology, biochemistry and microbiology
·         Good computer and problem-solving skills
·         Team player
·         A Tax compliance Certificate from KRA
·         A certificate of Good Conduct

Job Title: Laboratory Quality Assurance Officer
Location: Kisii
Work Type: Full time
Overall Responsibility: The successful candidate will be expected to Implement, Manage and Monitor Systems to ensure quality Clinical Laboratory Practice; and ensure that procedures adhere to safety and compliance rules and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·         Establish and maintain the Laboratory Quality Management System (QMS)
·         Monitor QA activities of the laboratory to determine conformance with authorized policies, procedures and governing regulations; make appropriate recommendations for correction and improvement as necessary.
·         Providing leadership and guidance on relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
·         Defining the quality systems and operational standards, and applying them to monitor and improve the quality of laboratory services.
·         Offering guidance to the Laboratory team in developing and documenting appropriate policies, processes and procedures for their activities.
·         Ensuring a safe laboratory environment in compliance with good clinical laboratory practices and applicable regulations.
·         Reviewing documentation periodically to ensure conformance of laboratory service delivery
·         Coordinating internal audits of the laboratory and ensuring participation in relevant proficiency testing schemes.
·         Responsible for training Laboratory staff in quality systems and applications.
·         Monitor sample packaging, shipping, handling and storage activities.
·         Monitor performance of QA and QC audits.
·         Provide oversight of performance evaluation analysis.
·         Provide monthly laboratory quality assurance reports.
Qualification and Requirements.
·         Higher Diploma/Degree in Laboratory Technology
·         Must be registered by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board with a current practicing license
·         Knowledge of GCLP, ISO 15189:2012 standards
·         Knowledge in Quality Management systems, Laboratory operation and procedures.
·         A Tax compliance Certificate from KRA
·         A certificate of Good Conduct
