Sales Manager

Responsibilities
·         Forecasting and developing annual sales targets for existing and new products;
·         Achieving agreed sales targets monthly and annually by developing action plans and building and exploiting networks of potential advertisers;
·         Maintaining sales volumes by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
·         Creating and maintaining systems for tracking sales, ensuring contracts are signed, filed, invoiced and fully executed and monthly reports are sent;
·         Recruiting, developing and supervising sales staff and following up on their work processes and results;
·         Attending events to network and establish contacts; and,
·         Supporting and guiding the team efforts as and when required.
Qualifications    
·         Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a business related field;
·         At least 3 years’ experience in FMCG environment;
·         Ability to write complex reports;
·         Understanding of the dynamics and complexity of print sales and market knowledge
·         People management skills; and,
·         Demonstrable success and track record in sales planning, relationship building and sales target achievement.

Event & Movie Ticketing Executive

Responsibilities
·         Developing the strategy and workplan for event and movie ticketing in Kenya and promoting regional expansion;
·         Target planning and implementation;
·         Identifying key stakeholders, event organizers and venues and the execution of ticketing sales, preferably exclusively;
·         Liaison with KenyaBuzz customer care staff for setting up of systems for selling and implementation of ticketing;
·         Supervision of KenyaBuzz customer care staff;
·         Negotiate contracts, user agreements, and other engagement documents for ticketing with KenyaBuzz are properly documented.
·         Collaborate with the team to oversee the development of B2B and B2C promotional materials targeting event organizers and venues;
·         Manage and implement reporting systems for clients;
·         Manage internal tracking and reporting systems for movies and event ticketing; and,
·         Manage internal and external teams assigned to events.
Qualifications
·         University degree;
·         2-3 years’ experience with outstanding track record in sales;
·         Proven management, administrative and supervision skills;
·         Good interpersonal skills; and,
·         Experience in ticketing and events sales is an added advantage.

Business Executive

The Business Executives will be responsible for selling creatives and innovative TV advertising solutions while providing effective services for maximization of advertising share. The successful candidates will report to the designated Business Manager.
Responsibilities
·         Research available business opportunities and identify new leads and potential new opportunities for advertising by generating and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data;
·         Liaison with clients to ensure share of advertising budget availability to NTV;
·         Prospect, identify, and qualify clients for new business opportunities by providing advertising solutions and providing creative solutions and presentations that are unique to each client;
·         Ensure client focused selling by providing excellent customer service to existing clients to both retain and grow those accounts as well as maintaining interactions with potential new businesses;
·         Demonstrate value preposition to clients;
·         Achieve set annual and monthly targets for multimedia advertising sales;
·         Increase advertising opportunities within NMG’s products and TV product offerings which will translate to higher revenues;
·         Maintain and grow business contacts for existing and potential NTV clients ; and,
·         Develop and implement plans for increasing sales volumes and market share.
Qualifications
·         A Bachelor’s degree in business studies or related field;
·         Diploma in Marketing will be an added advantage;
·         At least 4 years’ experience in media sales, preferably in ;

Nation Media Group seeks to recruit experienced and self-motivated Freelance Business Solutions Executives in the Advertising Department.
Reporting to Business Solutions Manager- Business Daily, the ideal candidates will have the overall responsibility of initiating and executing sales while promoting and developing effective advertising solutions to clients.
Responsibilities
·         Selling advertising solutions for Business Daily through prospecting, writing proposals, visiting clients, taking orders, managing clients and managing Nation Media’s market share;
·         Generating ideas for new sales and expanding the market opportunities;
·         Establishing contacts with and developing long term relationships with new clients;
·         Maintaining positive and productive relationships with existing clients;
·         Preparation of and adherence to individual sales plans in alignment with the organization’s goals and business objectives;
·         Collecting debts by invoicing, delivering statements and following-up on payment;
·         Client account management, making courtesy calls, conducting market intelligence, enhancing client PR for client appreciation and monitoring client advert positioning;
·         Guaranteeing quality control by ensuring minimal make-goods and credit notes, managing deadlines and managing client complaints;
·         Meeting targets and KPIs; and

Qualifications    
·         University Degree preferably in Sales and Marketing;
