Production Manager

Qualifications
·         Have a Bsc Degree in dairy technology or food Science technology.
·         5 years experience in the dairy industry.
·         Computer literate.
·         Over 30 years of age.
·         Must be a member of professional body.
·         The production manager will be in charge of one of our branches.

The production manager provides leadership and direction to the plant in all areas of responsibility including administration, production quality and safety.
Responsibilities
·         Responsible for planning and organizing branch operations.
·         Analyze branch dairy operations to ensure good leadership in the industry.
·         Oversee milk quality.
·         Manage milk variances and ensure minimal or zero level is maintained.
·         Responsible for general hygiene of the plant and the environment.
·         Collect &monitor milk data for the branch.

·         Monitor production equipments ensure smooth running and are well maintained.
·         Responsible for employees work schedule in the branch..
·         Responsible for quality assurance in one of our in the branch.
·         Any other assigned duty

Extension Officer
Responsibilities
·         Ensuring the delivery of dairy farmers training and other extension services
·         Overseeing the milk procurement services using company centres and private transporters
·         Ensuring adequate and timely access to quality and competitive inputs for the farmers.
Qualifications
·         A Degree in Veterinary Sciences/Animal Production, or any other relevant degree,
·         3 years experience and above in extension field
·         must have demonstrated success in animal production and nutrition services.
·         Must have good communication skills.
