Qualifications
·
Applicants must be holders of an M
Sc. in one’s area of specialization plus 5 years experience at the level of
Senior Technologist grade DEF.
OR
·
A B.Sc. or Higher Diploma in
Meteorology or equivalent qualification plus 7 years experience as Senior
Technologist Grade DEF in a busy teaching/research laboratory or operations
facility. They must be proficient with standard computer applications and also
have working knowledge in weather analysis and prediction tools.
Responsibilities
·
The successful candidate will be
expected to provide leadership. They will also be expected to supervise
technical staff I and organize practicals for both undergraduate and
postgraduate students
Information Officer
AD/2/39/19- ( R&T)
Qualifications
·
Must have KCSE minimum Grade C and a
Higher National Diploma in Computer Science, Information systems, information
Sciences or equivalent qualification recognized by KNEC
OR
·
an Ordinary Diploma in Computer
Science, Information systems, information Sciences or equivalent qualification
with 2 years relevant experience.
Skills
·
Must demonstrate understanding and
use of relational databases and data management software
·
Must demonstrate capability to data
collection, organization, analysis and report generation
·
Must have good web development and
maintenance skills using latest design tools
·
Must have good systems analytical and
diagnostic skills
·
Must demonstrate good numerical skills
and an understanding of statistics.
·
Must have skills in the use of data
analysis tools and software such as Ms excel, SPSS among others
·
Must demonstrate a sound
understanding of data storage and information security in a enterprise setup
and well as applicable data privacy practices and laws.
·
Must have effective communication,
good interpersonal and team work skills
Duties and responsibilities
Under
the supervision of the Quality Assurance Officer to process, analyze data and
information for quality assurance and quality control. More specifically:
·
To Collect data, Organize, analyze
and generate needed reports as per user requirements
·
To design, develop, support and
continuously update and maintain departmental website
·
To provide information security and
storage of data
·
To Implement and support a relational
database environment
·
To ensure the necessary quality
assurance and control mechanisms are in place and guaranteed.
·
To perform any other duties assigned
by the Quality Assurance Officer
Experience
·
Should have at least 1 (one) years
experience in a data management and web design environment.
Technologist
AD/2/40/19- (CBPS).
Qualifications
·
Applicants should be holders of at
least a KCSE Mean Grade C with credits in relevant science subjects and an
Ordinary Diploma in Analytical Chemistry plus 3 years relevant experience
in Grade III/IV.
Responsibilities
·
The successful candidate will be
expected to organize practicals and also carry out routine analysis and
maintain lab equipment.
Senior Office Assistant
AD/2/41/19- (R&T)
Qualifications
·
Applicants must be holders of at
least a KCSE certificate or its equivalent.
·
They must have at least five years
working experience in relevant offices.
·
They must have a good school leaving
certificate and a good reference letter from current Section Head.
·
They must be able to communicate
fluently in both English and Kiswahili languages.
·
They must have served as Office
Assistant grade IV or equivalent position for at least three (3) years.
·
They must have good public relations.
·
They must have knowledge of the use
of office equipments like photocopiers etc and must be of high integrity,
reliable, disciplined and committed to work.
·
They must be vetted officers.
·
Applicants with previous experience
in working in executive offices in an institution of higher learning will be
preferred.
Responsibilities
·
The successful candidate will be
expected to show outstanding merit and ability to handle highly classified
information and work with minimum supervision.
·
They will also be expected to work
during odd hours and also during weekends.
Senior Messenger
AD/2/42/19- (R&T)
Qualifications
·
Applicants must be holders of at
least a KCSE certificate or its equivalent.
·
They must have at least five years
working experience in relevant offices.
·
They must have a good school leaving
certificate and a good reference letter from current Section Head.
·
They must be able to communicate

Cleaner grade II or equivalent position for at least three (3) years.
·

Driver

Qualifications
·
Applicants should be holders of at
least a KCSE level of education or equivalent,

have a clean valid driving license
classes ABCE and PSV,
·
have passed in Occupational Test
Grade III,
·
a certificate in First Aid and
·
at least three (3) years satisfactory
previous driving experience after obtaining license.
Senior Admin Assistant
AD/2/44/19- (R&T)
Qualifications
·
Applicants should be holders of a
Bachelor’s (at least lower 2nd class Hons.) degree from a recognized university and
CPS II or relevant professional or postgraduate qualification in management.
·
They should also have at least three
(3) years experience as Administrative Assistant Grade CD or equivalent
position.
·
They must be Computer literate
How to Apply
