Sales Assistants

Responsibilities

·         Increase revenue growth of The Standard and Nairobian Newspapers by growing circulation copies
·         Maintaining the returns of the Standard and Nairobian Newspapers within the prescribed return levels
·         Daily reconciliation of the returns using the Returns Management System
·         Reduce stock outs, non-supply or over supply of newspapers as guided by the Order Management system
·         Grow subscribers’ contribution by the set target
·         Ensure satisfactory product visibility and availability in the market
·         Manage daily orders to achieve the desired sales target and unsold levels
·         Maintain good customer relationship in the assigned area.

This role is responsible for organizing and executing brand exposure and awareness events while ensuring brand visibility across all mediums to grow listenership.
Responsibilities
·         Audience Growth by creating promotional ideas, calendar activity for the year in respect to customer department
·         Achieve public high awareness of the content carried on the specific brands platforms
·         Develop Creative agency briefs, road shows briefs, content briefs and seeking approvals for development into execution stage.
·         Understanding of brand innovation needs and new product development opportunities based on consumer trends in different brand segments and the market environment.
·         Led the consumer validation process at all stage gates and deliver to the agreed Innovation calendar for new products.
·         Finalized the marketing mix development in dialogue with sales and product teams.

This role is responsible for growing, building and protecting Standard Group brands by increasing circulation, readership and advertising to achieve budgeted volume, market share and profit objectives while developing and effectively implementing marketing activities for the brands.

Responsibilities

·         Developing new brand promotion ideas and activities which contribute towards achieving brand growth, objectives of affinity, visibility and availability;
·         Researching and gathering trade visits/market intelligence to identify new target audiences/geographies;
·         Processing research information and using it to improve the brand ratings and content by feeding back effectively to editorial;
·         Planning and executing/seeking out relevant partnerships/ brand sponsorships for key events and activities in line with the brand profile audience;
·         Protecting and defending share by monitoring product availability across Kenya for all brands where the audiences are concentrated, monitor competitor activity and results with an aim to continuously improve the brand game plans, enhance brand value and counter the competition;
·         Motivating and coaching Brand Executives to produce results in respective areas;

Responsibilities
·         Planning and scheduling for capturing, rendering and publishing of all video/podcasts from various sources (primary and secondary sources) on all Radio online channels;
·         Ensures that quality control is enforced when editing, producing, and digitizing of videos into digital format for our online channels;
·         Directing the production of commercials/promos for Standard Radioproducts;
·         Managing Live Stream, live events and copyright issues for Radio;
·         Researching and implementing best audio visual streaming technologies;
·         Managing of Radio accounts and ensuring that traffic from videos and podcasts grows to meet set targets;
·         Generating revenues by creating and uploading banner ads for clients, managing various revenue streams and monitoring Radio On-line revenue statistics and report generation;
