Senior Business Development Officer
Role Overview: The Senior BDO will lead all the companies’ business development efforts to ensure that the company meets and exceeds its sales projections by delivering on client’s expectations. They will be required to work closely with the technical team to ensure customer requirements and needs are translated in what the market needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
·         Develop, execute and monitor the business development strategy of the business in line with the overall company strategy;
·         Oversee the sale of company products namely hardware products, systems and software;
·         Prepare presentations and demonstrations for client pitches with the technical team;
·         Manage business development and sales activities of partners to generate revenue;
·         Coordinate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals;
·         Analyze market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness;
·         Respond to requests for tenders, proposals and quotations as per the company standards and the client terms of reference;
·         Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements to their offering;
·         Educate partners about product portfolio and complimentary services offered;
·         Address partner related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner;
·         Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities;
·         Develop positive working relationship with partners to build the business;
·         Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners;
·         Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities;
·         Work with partners to develop sales proposals, quotations, and pricing of various offerings;
·         Ensure proper costing of projects taking into consideration time, cost and quality;
·         Managing Customer Contract Agreements (SLA’s, ISA and Warranty and Post Warranty support);
·         Manage key customer accounts and promote proactive customer relationships;
·         Develop, maintain and nurture executive level relationships in identified corporates and institutions;
·         Build trust and strengthen client relationships by keeping customers informed on the way emerging technologies can help their businesses;
·         Oversee full and timely delivery of the proposed customer’s solution(s)
Qualifications and Experience (Must Haves)
·         Degree in Computer Engineering, Business Information Technology, Software Development, Bachelor of Business Information Technology, Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) or any other relevant degree from a recognised university;
·         A post graduate qualification in business development/sales and marketing or related area;
·         At least 3 years experience as a BDO in technical or IT driven environment;
·         Ability to align the business to various changes to increase revenue and remain Profitable.
·         Proficiency in MS office suite

Research and Development Lead
Role Overview: The Research & Development Lead will play a key role in directing the company in creating new and innovative products and services thus improving the company’s competitiveness.
An ideal candidate should be a curious individual who has an eye for opportunities and has ability to conceptualize solutions out of those opportunities. It is desirable that the person has a strong business orientation to assist the business teams turn the ideas into viable business ventures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Advising management on matters relating to new innovations and how to develop the ideas into business cases;
·         Day to day management and administration of the Research and Development Unit;
·         Implementation and realization of the Department’s agenda in the organizations plan and objectives;
·         Keeping tabs and documenting current trends and developments in the industry with an aim of sharing information with the relevant team for discussion and adoption;
·         Identifying research innovations of products that have practical significance to the company and devise strategies for their implementation;
·         Development and validation of new products and services as per market trends;
·         Carry out critical evaluation of research projects at all stages of their implementation;
·         Advising on data processing, reporting and packaging for dissemination;
·         Establishing and maintaining linkages with beneficiaries and stakeholders of research results and services;
·         Formulation of research policies and strategies;
·         Undertaking monitoring and evaluation of the Research and Development programmes and activities.
·         Perform any other research related duties as required from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience (Must Haves):
·         Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related area;
·         A minimum of three years’ experience working in a research and development set up;
·         Demonstrated ability to translate business ‘problems’ into solutions
·         Good experience in research software such as SPSS or other specialist software’s.
·         Experience of working in a software development field is a must;

Applications Development and Integration Lead (Developer)
Role overview: The Application Development and Integration role is responsible for building and implementing functional programs in collaboration with other technical members throughout the application development life cycle.
A desirable candidate needs to be an enthusiastic software developer who is passionate about delivering systems that transform lives and add value to businesses.
Duties and responsibilities
·         Produce clean, efficient codes based on specifications;

·         Integrate software components and third-party programs;
·         Verify and deploy programs and systems;
·         Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software;
·         Gather and address technical and design requirements;
·         Provide training and support to internal teams;
·         Build reusable code and libraries for future use;
·         Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
·         Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support);
·         Produce fully functional applications writing clean code;
·         Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions;
·         Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance;
·         Design interfaces to improve user experience;
·         Liaise with Product development team to plan new features;

Qualifications and Experience (Must Haves):
·         BSc in Computer science or its equivalent from a recognised university;
·         At least three (3) years’ of relevant experience in a busy organization;
·         Good knowledge of Java, C, C++, JavaScript, Python, android and kotlin Programming Languages;
·         Good knowledge of Spring boot, and Angular frameworks;
·         Good knowledge of software version control tools like GIT;

Technical Business Development Executive
Role Overview: The Technical BDE will lead the prospecting, presentation, sales, installation, maintenance and repair of access control and security solutions for clients.
Duties and responsibilities:
·         Promote sales of technology driven access control and security systems;
·         Coordination, supervision and day to day management of various client projects;
·         Liaise with technical team to ensure seamless delivery of the customer promise;
·         Carry out channel sales activities for partners and clients to generate revenue;
·         Establish and manage client relationships to generate more business;
·         Ensure customers get a wholesome and value adding experience;
·         Proper costing of projects taking into consideration profits, time, cost and quality;
·         Manage various client projects and contracts to ensure seamless execution;
·         Coordinate with partners and clients to execute plans and meet set goals;
·         Manage existing and new customer accounts;
·         Schedule and conduct customer meetings and products presentations and demonstrations;
·         Respond to clients needs by preparing and presenting customer quotations;
·         Planning and executing marketing activities to ensure market share and presence;
·         Conduct market and product research;
·         Train and educate clients and partners on product portfolio and complimentary services;
·         Address partner related issues like sales conflicts and pricing in a timely manner;
Qualifications and Experience (Must Haves):
·         Holder of a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical and Wiring Technology Information Technology or any other relevant area;
·         Possession of a Diploma or Certificate in Sales and Marketing is an added advantage;
·         A minimum of two years experience selling access control and security systems;
·         Hands on experience in both technical aspects of Access Control and Sales and Marketing;
