JOB GRADE KAGRC 12 (2 POSITIONS)

An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

Responsibilities

· Drive vehicles as authorized;

· Carry out routine checks on the vehicles;

· Detect and report malfunctioning of vehicles system;

· Maintain records of vehicles;

· Ensure security and safety of the vehicle;

· Oversee safety of the passengers and or goods therein;

· Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle;

· Ensure adherence to or observations of traffic laws; and

· Report any incidents to police and/or the office immediately they occur.

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

· KCSE D plain or equivalent from a recognised institution;

· Valid driving license;

· Trade Test for Drivers Grade III;

· First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from a recognized institution;

· Five years driving experience;

· Ability to travel country wide; and

· Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution;

Key Competencies and skills

· Organizational skills

· Public Relations skills;

· Good communication and reporting skills in both English and Kiswahili;

· Interpersonal skills; and

All candidates are expected to attach valid copies of the following documents:

· Tax compliance certificates;

· Clearance from HELB;

· Clearance from Ethics and anti-corruption commission;

· Clearance from the CRB; and

· Certificate of Good conduct from the police.

Laboratory Internship

Qualifications

· Bachelors degree in applied Science, Medical Laboratory technology and its equivalent or Diploma in a relevant course.

The Internship positions will be for a period of three months.

Sales & Marketing Internship (8 Posts)

Work Station

To be deployed in any of the following regions: Meru, Kirinyaga, Nakuru, Sotik, Kisumu, Kakamega, Makueni and Voi.

Qualifications

· Bachelors degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal production, Commerce marketing option and its equivalent or Diploma in a relevant course.

Farm Management Internship

Qualifications

· Bachelors degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal production or diploma in a relevant course.

Procurement Internship

Qualifications

· Bachelor of Commerce/Business administration or its equivalent (Procurement option) or
