Our
2019 Corporate Management Trainee Program is designed to guide and support the
career path of talented recent graduates. It aims to develop young talents with
strong potential to become future business leaders.
The
program prepares our Management Trainees to anticipate and solve complex
problems, manage projects, build people network, and meet the continuous
challenges in various sectors of the career industry.
Responsibilities
Our
Corporate Management Trainee Program is 18 months in duration. During that
time, each Management Trainee will:

Rotate through major departments for
on-the-job training
·
Go through a customized training
curriculum in specific business, management and personal development areas
·
Receive executive coaching from a
management executive for ongoing professional and personal career guidance
·
Demonstrate his/her potential and
capability by undertaking various departmental roles and delivering regular
presentations/recommendations to the management
Qualifications
·
University graduate from a local or
overseas University. Those with less than 1 years’ working experience will also
be considered
·
Professional courses like ACI, ACII,
CPA, a plus
·
Keen to build a successful career in
the financial/Insurance industry
·
Enjoy working with people and have
good interpersonal and communication skills
·
Presentable, self-motivated with
confidence and maturity.
·
Strong business acumen with good
analytical thinking
·

Finance Assistant

We are looking for a Finance
Assistant to support our day-to-day transactions, including expenses and
payroll.
If you have an accounting background
and are interested in procedures like tax management and budget preparation,
we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you’ll help maintain our
company’s financial health and make sure we use our resources beneficially.
Responsibilities

Assisting the finance department and
senior accounting staff members with various tasks, including preparing
budgets, records, and statements
·
Preparing financial documents such as
invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
·
Completing financial reports on a
regular basis and providing information to the finance team
·
Managing payroll
·
Assisting with budgets
·
Completing bank reconciliations
·
Entering financial information into
appropriate software programs
·
Managing company ledgers
·
Processing business expenses
·
Verifying balances in account books
and rectifying discrepancies
·
Managing day-to-day transactions
·
Recording office expenditures and
ensuring these expenses are within the set budget

Posting daily receipts

Preparing annual budgets

Handling accruals and prepayments

Resolving errors in financial reports
and correcting faulty reporting methods

Managing monthly budgeting tasks
·
Create cost analysis reports (fixed
and variable costs)
·
Process tax payments
·
Process invoices and follow up with
clients, suppliers and partners as needed
Qualifications
·
Degree in BA, Finance, Accounting or
related field
·
CPA qualification
·
Work experience as a Finance
Assistant/Accounts Assistant /Finance Officer or similar role
·
At least 3 years’ experience is
required
·
Good knowledge of accounting and
bookkeeping procedures
·
Familiarity with accounting software
(e.g. QuickBooks)
·
Organizational and time-management
skills
·
Attention to detail, with an ability
to spot numerical errors
·
Advanced MS Excel skills (creating
spreadsheets and using financial functions)

Experience in sales or customer
service is preferred
·
Knowledge of customer relationship
management (CRM) practices
·
Previous sales experience preferably
in Insurance or financial service industry.

Over 4 years’ experience in a similar
job role

control, and governance processes. The successful candidate will possess a
thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgment.
Responsibilities

Perform and control the full audit
cycle including risk management and control management over operations’
effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable
directives and regulations

Obtain, analyze and
evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.
·
Prepare and present reports that
reflect audit’s results and document process
·
Determine internal audit scope and
develop annual plans
·
Act as an objective source of
independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement

Identify loopholes and recommend risk
aversion measures and cost savings
