The
Director Business Development Services reports to the Chief Executive Officer
and is responsible for providing business development guidance by developing
and implementing the national meetings incentives for conferences and
exhibitions strategy.

Responsibilities
·
Development and implementation of all
programs aimed at marketing the Centre both locally and internationally
·
Development and implementation of The
Centre’s strategic business development plans in line with the corporate
strategic plan
·
Develop and implement marketing
programs aimed at increasing the Centre’s market share
·
Bid for international conferences and
exhibitions
·
Development and implementation of
goals, objectives and policies of the Business Development Directorate
including Sales, Marketing, Digital communications and business projects
·
Oversee the development of
promotional, advertising and marketing materials for the organization
·
Develop new products, services and
market expansion programs
·
Develop, plan and direct all business
projects which can enhance the business of the organization
·
Develop and review pricing policy
from time to time to reflect on the prevailing market rates
·
Study and analyze market trends to
ensure the Corporation is in tandem with the prevailing markets
Requirements
·
Have a minimum of ten (10) years’
experience in senior management level in tourism, hospitality or related
sector;
·
Have a Bachelor’s Degree from a
recognized institution;
·
Have a Master’s Degree in Business
management or related field from a recognized institution;
·
Be a member of a professional body;
·
Have a certificate in Leadership
Course lasting not less four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
·
Be proficient in computer

Demonstrate professional competency

The Manager, Human Resource and Administrations
reports to the Director Corporate Services and is responsible for offering
advisory services to management on HR and Administration matters and deal with
all staff matters including recruitment & selection, placement, retention,
training and development, discipline, administration of staff welfare and
separation.
Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this
level will entail;

Forecasting and planning on human
resource needs
·
Managing the Corporation’s
recruitment and selection process;
·
Coordination of training and
development of staff in the Corporation;
·
Coordination of staff performance
management, reward and sanctions system;
·
Development of corporation’s
mentoring and coaching programs
·
Monitoring and evaluating the
effectiveness of the staff succession plans, development, mentoring, coaching
and internship programs

Advising the Directorate on matters

The Manager Planning reports to
Director Corporate Planning and is responsible for Coordinating, developing and
reviewing of five year Corporate Strategic Vision, Annual Work Plans,
Monitoring and Evaluation of the Corporate Performance Contract and priorities
linked to the National and sectoral goal.
Responsibilities

Coordinate the development and review
of five-year Corporate Strategic Vision, Objectives and priorities, linked to
the National and sectoral goal and priorities.

Coordinate the development and
implementation of annual corporate plan based the corporate strategy, budgetary
requirements
·
Participate in developing national
sector plans and budgets.

Prepare Quarterly and Annual
Corporate performance contracting reports
·
Participate in the financial planning
process to ensure alignment of budgetary provisions to the strategic objectives
·
Provide strategic advice on potential
projects and initiatives that will facilitate achievement of corporate
strategic objectives.

Coordinate the development and
implementation of corporate performance contract from identifying targets,

The Principal ICT officer reports to
the ICT Manager and is responsible for promoting the use of ICT in delivery of
services towards realization of the Corporation’s mandate.
Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this
level will entail:
Business Support
·
Researching, evaluating and recommending
new technologies to enhance Corporation’s ICT infrastructure;
·
Developing and coordinating network
security measures to ensure the integration of the ICT infrastructure;
·
Researching, planning, implementing
and coordinating network infrastructure replacements and upgrades;
·
Coordinating the maintenance of
Corporate-wide messaging system, Intranet and Extranet sites for the
Corporation (Emails, Websites, Digital Signage, Telecoms);
·
Manage outsourced 3rd Party ICT
service providers and ensuring that service delivery is done according to the
laid down Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
·
Participating in developing of ICT
standard operating procedures;

Coordinating development technical
specifications for all ICT related purchases;

The Principal Internal Auditor
reports to the Audit Manager and is responsible for providing assurance on the
Corporation’s internal control systems, risk management framework and the
governance structure as per the Public Financial Management, (PFM) Act.
Responsibilities
·
Developing a comprehensive programme
of engagement coverage for assigned areas;
·
Ensuring conformity to acceptable
standards, plans, budgets and schedules;
·
Coordinate the preparation of
specific audit assignment plans and programmes;
·
Preparation of the Internal Audit
systems, procedures and guidelines;
·
Carrying out audit tests on internal
controls in all processes;
·
Ensuring that the audit findings are
properly documented;

Preparing draft audit reports

pensionable terms
