The Position: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Prevention & Detection the position will be reviewing transactions alerts and collate data from the real-time Fraud Management System and other reporting sources with a view to identifying fraudulent transactions, instituting prompt mitigation actions and create awareness on fraud trends across the Bank network.

Key Responsibilities:
·         Constantly monitor real time queues and identify high-risk transactions, unauthorized transactions and fraudulent accounts.
·         Identify fraudulent transactions and institute prompt mitigating actions.
·         Review and provide resolution to queued transactions within defined SLAs to reduce potential revenue losses.
·         Review daily reports & compromise alerts to track and prevent fraud.
·         Recommend for appropriate holds on accounts identified as having potentially fraudulent issues.
·         Undertake research on fraud patterns by tracking confirmed fraudulent transactions to develop rules to prevent and detect fraud.
·         Contact Customers & Banks to verify transactions and resolve fraud-related account issues, if fraud confirmed, initiate investigations and dispute process through the Case Management system.
·         Facilitate understanding of fraud prevention and detection across the Bank network.
·         Track status of resolved items to provide a record of activities and support identification of trends or persistent issues.
·         Recommend changes to fraud detection system parameters optimizing fraud detection while minimizing negative customer impact.
Job Requirements:
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
·         University Degree in Computer Science / Finance / Business/ Banking / Law / Criminal Justice studies or any relevant field from Institution recognised by Commission of Higher Education
·         At least 4 years’ experience in Banking Operations; 3 years’ experience in Fraud Prevention and Detection
·         At least 3 years’ Analysis experience using Analytics techniques in Linear and Logistic Regression, Clustering Techniques, Neural Network, Decision Trees, etc.
·         Professional qualifications in Database Administration and Programming knowledge is added advantage

Program Accountant

It is an innovative 5 Year program targeting Smallholder Farmers (SHFs), Pastoralists, Farmers Producer Organizations (FPOs), Agro Dealers, Processors, Off takers and any actors in the various Agricultural Value Chains in Kenya and Rwanda. The principal objective of the project is to enhance financial inclusion and improved livelihood status of the agricultural community.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the jobholder will support MobiGrow Program at country level in financial management, planning, cost control, disbursements and reconciliations for MobiGrow Program. Monitor expenditure and efficient use of resources. Update and generate financial reports for the Program in Kenya.
Key Responsibilities:

·         Provide overall co-ordination and quality monitoring of MobiGrow team’s Finances, capture proof of spend as required by the Partner.
·         Capture and interpret financial requirements to the implementing Country staff.
·         Work closely with Program Managers to ensure that program work plan and financial planning are synchronized.
·         Maintain program-related records, including contracts and change orders.
Authorize the transfer of expenses into and out of Program-related accounts based on approvals.
·         Review and receive supplier invoices related to the Program and all Program-related billings to customers.
·         Develop a billing schedule that informs both Program team and other support teams on how to bill their time to the Program and how to code expenses related to the Program.
·         Investigate program variances and submit variance reports to the Finance and Administration Manager.
·         Close out program accounts upon program completion.
·         Compile information for internal and external auditors, as required.
The Person:
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
·         University Degree in a Business related field from a University recognized by Commission for Higher Education. Masters in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
·         Fully qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
·         At least 5 years’ experience in Financial management and Planning.

Foreign Exchange Trader

·         Thorough understanding of local and global market regulations applicable to foreign exchange.
·         Good understanding of various limits that apply to FX Trading and knowledge of risk management and its application to financial markets.
