Responsibilities
·
Collect and document data of farmers
in the ward;

Visit farmers and train them on good
agricultural practices;

Monitor the food situation in the
ward and report on any disasters including floods damage, notifiable pests
(e.g. army worms) and diseases (e.g. Maize Lethal Necrosis Disease);

Requirements

Agricultural Officer (Monitoring, Evaluation
& Communication Officer)

enterprises to be undertaken in the institutional farm;

conditions to the farm manager;

Keep good farm records for all crop

Develop a crop rotation programme,
crop production plans and crop implementation schedules for the farm;

Supervise farm labour to ensure
efficient utilization of labour;
