Job Purpose
The job holder is responsible for
production and supply of good quality milling cane to the factory, supply of
good quality seed cane in the zone, coordinate service delivery with machinery
both in the factory and in the field and oversee the maintenance of sugar
roads.
Responsibilities

Job Purpose
The job holder manages the Human
Resource department and implements Human Resource policies and procedures to
ensure the organization is resourced with professional, competent and motivated
workforce to deliver its strategic objectives.
This position also offers advisory
services to management on HR matters and deal with all staff matters including
recruitment & selection, placement, retention, training and development,
discipline, administration of staff welfare and separation.
Responsibilities
·
Review and recommend for approval
updated human resource policies and procedures in compliance with the
applicable legislative framework and best practice;
·
Manage the recruitment and selection
process to ensure that the Corporation is adequately resourced with the right
caliber of staff;

Supervise the monthly processing of
the organizations payroll and ensure timely remittance of related statutory
deductions in line with approved budgets;

ICT Manager
Reports to: Finance and
Administration Manager
Job Purpose
This position is responsible for the
management, development and implementation of the Company’s ICT Strategy and
ensuring the design and selection of ICT applications and infrastructure
support capacity and to drive the strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities

Motivate and nurture the department
to achieve excellence in capability to achieve overall objectives.
·
Lead the department by budgeting,
planning and directing resources to achieve targets and objectives.
·
Supervise the development,
implementation and management of finance policies.
·
Oversee staff development.
·
Ensure performance measures are
designed to evaluate performance against the strategic plan;
·
Play a senior leadership role in
bringing the internal community along to support the outputs delivered by
developing effective and strategic relationships
·
Build a highly effective team, by
leading, managing and motivating staff and by directing and coaching them where
appropriate, so that they achieve excellence in delivery.
Operational Responsibilities / Tasks
·
Developing and executing an ICT
Strategy and related ICT standards in support of and to enable the overall
Company strategy.
·
Participates in formulation,
interpretation and execution of ICT policy.
·
Plans, analyses, evaluate ICT
requirements and ensure security and integrity of data, software and hardware.
·
Develops guidelines for system
development, enhancements, user requirements, testing platforms criteria and
bench marks for the entire organization.
·
Provides and continually test
Disaster Recovery and Business Resumption Planning.
·
Prepares and manages ICT operating
and capital budgets.
·
Executes and controls ICT
procurement, support and maintenance.
·
Manages and updates Company’s
website.
·
Ensures maintenance of optimal
performance of all business systems and equipment through in house support or
properly negotiated service level agreement with vendors.
·
Develops and monitors technical
specifications for procurement and contractual services for ICT related goods
and services.
·
Aligning ICT objectives and
programs/projects to enterprise–wide objectives and strategies.
·
Ensures provision of user support,
coordination and facilitation of ICT training.
·
Co-ordinates the implementation of
standard procedures.
Financial Responsibility:
·
Responsible for preparation,
implementation and monitoring of the departmental budget.
·
Responsible for physical assets
assigned by the institution. b) Provides oversight for all departmental
physical assets.
Requirements
·
Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer
Science or a related field.
·
Professional Qualifications /
Membership to professional bodies.
·
Proper understanding and usage of
ERP.
·
At least 5 years’ experience and 3
years in a managerial position.
