Agency Business Manager 

Region: Nyanza & Central

Role Purpose
This position is responsible for delivering T-Kash targets through effective acquisition and management of mobile money agents, merchants and business accounts within the region.  Sell and manage the distribution of Telkom product and services to resellers and distributors within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

·         Achieve the sales targets and revenues as set by management (measured occasionally through Agent/merchant acquisition site wise recharges and acquisitions)
·         Effectively manage the identification and recruitment of agents and merchants, targeting key organizations and institutions as well as top performing mobile money outlets and high traffic retail stores.
·         Ensure that the Agent Network in the Region is managed by the Distribution team through identifying and troubleshooting poorly performing outlets.
·         Forecast and monitor sales for the relevant market segments for assigned region and key customers.
·         Effectively  manage 3rd party resources allocated i.e. assigned channel partner resources, supplier resources
·         Ensure all agents operate at their agreed levels, as per key agent indicators; i.e. enough float, registrations and transactions.
·         Forecast and maintain sales plans and stock levels with key customers for the assigned region.
·         Compile and execute action plans to grow the customer and partner footprint for the assigned region.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Accounting or a related field from a recognized Institution.
·         Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing Management, Sales Management.
·         Should be able to demonstrate understanding of the role to deliver commercial and brand objectives
·         Knowledge of ethics and corporate governance ethos.
·         Strong communication and presentation skills.
·         Capacity to propose solutions, make advices

Core Network Manager
Region: Nairobi
Reporting to: Head of Network Planning & Implementation

About This Role
The Manager-Core Network Planning will provide Strategic and Operational Leadership to ensure the efficient and effective planning of the core Mobile (Voice and Data) and Fixed line voice network in line with the business requirements (required timelines, budget constraints and quality standards). Systems include MSC, HLR, SGSN, GGSN, SSW, MGW, IMS etc.).

·         Maintains capacity and functionality requirements timeously and ahead of traffic for the PS Core, CS Core network according to departmental KPI’s in line with the company elements
·         Develop policies on the deployment of selected equipment

Requirements

·         Sc. Electrical/Telecommunications/ Engineering
·         Seven years in Core Network Planning
·         Additional Training in Network planning & optimization, Advanced Telecommunications and network overview, Supervisory and Leadership Training

·         At least 5 years’ managerial experience; with three years in relevant sector/ industry

Regional Sales Manager

This position is responsible for implementing and driving the sales strategy and action plans for the sales and distribution of Telkom product and services to resellers and distributors within a specified region.  Furthermore, it must facilitate and enable the meeting of sales targets and revenue margins across the customer network within the region. This role will also take responsibility for the shops in the region.

Responsibilities

·         Build and maintain relationships with key customers and facilitate the continuous growth of the customer base within the region
·         Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the partner and customer’s business within the region
·         Conduct analysis of customer, partners and sales metrics, costs and categories to inform business decisions
·         Forecast and monitor sales for the relevant market segments for assigned region and key customers.
·         Develop and recommend business plans in conjunction with partners and customers to drive business growth within the region
·         Ensure the delivery of expected sales delivery and performance from retail stores, resellers and distributors as well as the sales team within the region

MVNO Commercial Manager

Role Purpose: 
Reporting to the Head of Carrier Sales, the MVNO Commercial Manager will be responsible for the revenues, strategy tracking and any changes, commercial engagements and customer relationships with MVNO brands across consumer, ethnic and B2B segments – directly and through MVNE aggregators. The role holder will be responsible for onboarding and management of MVNO business.

Responsibilities

Reporting & Analysis
·         Responsible for successful on-boarding of the identified MVNO as per the Company governance process.
·         Responsible for definition and delivery of interdepartmental KPIs (SLA and other contracts’ deliverables)
·         Responsible for billing accuracy, revenue assurance and revenue collection.
·         Responsible for management and development of customer relationship.
·         Execute MVNO projects within budgets (Revenues & Cost)
·         Develop & define pricing & revenue models for MVNOs and MVNEs partners
·         Define metrics for periodic review of MVNOs financial and ethical performance

·         Proven working experience as a network administrator (Cisco certification).
·         Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications (Oracle, MYSQL, POSTGRESSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB).
·         Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security and integrity
