Requirements

Diploma in Community health nursing
(KRCHN;KRN) OR Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from a recognized Medical
Training College or University.
·
Higher diploma in Critical Care
Nursing from a recognized institution
·
Registered with the Nursing Council
of Kenya;
·
Valid Practicing License from Nursing
Council of Kenya.
·
Minimum 2 years’ experience as
general nurse
·
At least a certificate in Computer
Application Skills from a recognized Institution.
Responsibilities
·
Responds to medical emergencies in
all areas in the hospital;
·
Assessing, coordinating, monitoring
and evaluating care of critically ill patients and advocating for them;
·
Ensuring and maintaining a safe
environment for patients and for their safety while on their life saving
machines;
·
Coordinating with the
multidisciplinary team on critical patient care;
·
Organizing for and coordinating
training for staff on critical care and
·
Giving education and support to
families of critically ill patients.

Assistant Office Administrator II

Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:-

Taking oral dictation.

Word and data processing.

Managing e-offices

Operating office equipment
·
Handling telephone calls and
appointments

Attending to visitors/clients

Maintaining office diary and travel
itineraries
·
Establishing and monitoring
procedures for record keeping of correspondence and file movements

Maintaining an up to data filing
system in the office

Managing office protocol
·
Ensuring security of office records,
equipments and documents including classifying materials supervising of office
cleanliness, managing petty cash and undertaking any other office
administrative services duties that may assigned.
Requirements
For appointment for this grade, an officer must have:

Served in the grade of Assistant
Office Administrator II or Office Administrative Assistant I for a minimum
period of three (3) years.

Diploma in Secretarial Studies from a
Kenya National Examinations Council;
OR
·
Business Education Single and Group
Certificates (BES &GC) from the Kenya National Examinations Council in the
following subjects:-

Shorthand III (minimum 80w.p.m.)
·
Typewriting III (50w.p.m)
Computerized Document Processing III;
·

Business English III /Communications

Clerical officer II –Job Group ‘F’(1
Post)
This is the entry and training grade for the Clerical
Cadre. Work at this level will be carried out under closed supervision and
guidance of a more senior officers and will be subject to regular checks and
verification. Officers at this level will be deployed in HRM Unit, general
registry, supplies, accounts office or general office service.
Duties
·
compiling statistical records;
sorting, filing and dispatching letters;

maintaining an efficient filing
system; processing appointments, promotions, discipline, transfer and other
related duties in human resource management;

computing of financial or statistical
