Consumer Brand Manager

Develop and execute strategic marketing and activity plans that drive the business objectives of customer numbers, revenue and product penetration of the Consumer Banking portfolio comprising Personal Banking (Cub account), Mobile Banking, KCB Insurance Agency & KCB Capital.
Responsibilities
·         Planning: Development and execution of marketing plans for assigned products and/or Business units.

·         BU Engagement: Work closely with the Unit heads, product development team and sales teams to achieve the business objectives. Participate in projects driven by the respective business units supported.
·         Campaigns/Promotions:
1.  Develop briefs for campaigns and promotional projects in line with the business and brand objectives. Implement internal marketing plan.
2.  Work with partner agencies and suppliers to ensure timely execution of promotional projects and campaigns with the aim of achieving the business and brand objectives.
3.  Regular performance tracking & compilation of reports for circulation to respective stakeholders.
4.  Close out all campaigns/promotions with duly signed off report.
·         Project management: Coordinate partner agencies and suppliers to execute product activations for the products effectively within set timelines.
·         Budget management: Monitor and reconcile the Marketing budget activities by tracking LPOs and processing payments ensuring timely and accurate records.
·         Market Intelligence: Utilize research reports such as Brand Tracker, Usage and Attitude surveys and product specific surveys to inform and develop marketing plans.
·         Track and analyze assigned product performance through sales numbers and value; monitor Share of Voice (SOV), competitor advertising and industry trends then utilize these to prepare monthly reports with recommendations to the management.
·         Coach and motivate the team: Ensure they are set up with all the necessary tools and have adequate knowledge to drive and deliver on business objectives
·         Sales team linkage: Work closely with regional sales teams and branches to ensure sales support at marketing activations and events as well as provide sales teams with any required support during sales driven activities.
·         Procurement and Merchandise Management: Liaise with Procurement to ensure merchandise ordered is as per correct specification and meets brand guidelines. Liaise with Procurement to ensure supplier sourcing is done in accordance to budget and business needs while maximizing savings through effective negotiations with service providers.
 Qualifications
·         A Bachelor of Commerce degree, with specialization in Marketing or any other related field is required
·         Professional qualifications in CIM will be an added advantage
·         A Master’s degree in Marketing will be an added advantage
·         At least five (5) years’ experience in a relevant marketing role
·         At least three (3) years’ experience in brand management
·         Excellent interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to network, generate new business and develop strong business relations.
·         Team player with demonstrated work ethics; consistently demonstrates a high level of professionalism.
·         Effective prioritization skills to meet a complex set of business demands and demonstrate delivery against multiple objectives.
·         Assertive, self-motivated with desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Investment Banking Analyst

Reporting to the Transactor – Debt Capital Markets, the position will be responsible for the origination, execution of Investment Banking transactions, preparing financial models, reports and performance metrics of the Investment Banking team.
Responsibilities
·         Analysing and synthesizing financial and operating information about companies and sectors in order to gain insights and develop opportunities for clients.
·         Building detailed financial models in support of debt and equity investment banking transactions.
·         Perform valuation analyses using various methodologies including discounted cash flow and market multiples.
·         Originating development of marketing materials in support of client presentations.
·         Drafting client deliverables such as information memoranda and term sheets.
·         Participating in the execution of Investment Banking transactions by developing responsive and innovative transaction structures in support of Investment Banking transactions.
·         Undertaking detailed economic, sectorial and company research and analysis in support of Investment Banking transactions.
·         Attend client meetings in support of origination and execution of Investment Banking transactions.
 Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field from a reputable University recognized by CHE.
·         Professional qualifications (CFA/ ACIB/CPA/ACCA, NSE ATS Certificate) or MBA is an added advantage.
·         At least 3 years’ experience as an Analyst with experience in the following areas:
·         2 years’ experience developing and updating of financial models and valuations.
·         2 years’ experience undertaking Research on assigned industries or sectors.
·         Experience in Investment Banking/ Finance/ Advisory is an added advantage
·         Demonstrate sound knowledge of Brokerage and Advisory business environment, regulations and operations.
·         Demonstrate an understanding of both fundamental and technical analysis of a company
·         Excellent knowledge of the fixed income and equities market.
·         Conceptual and analytical skills: flair with figures, and strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information
·         Excellent, high quality interpersonal, presentation, problem solving, negotiation skills with the ability to positively and clearly communicate with a variety of constituents.
·         Ability to network through all open channels with large technological dependency for the target market.
·         Proven excellent planning, organization and execution skills.
·         A good understanding of Risk, Credit policies and procedures.

Transactor, Debt Capital Markets

Reporting to the Transactional Banker Capital Markets, Transactor, Debt Capital Markets will originate advisory mandates for Debt Capital Markets transactions and lead / manage execution of signed debt capital markets transactions.
Responsibilities
·         Work with the Transactional Banker Capital Markets to originate debt capital markets transactions in Kenya and across the East African region.

·         Drive the expansion of the Investment Banking business by identifying and developing new areas of growth.
·         In conjunction with the Corporate Banking team, leverage off the bank’s customer base in order to originate debt capital markets mandates.
·         Develop innovative debt financing structures that are responsive to customers’ needs.
·         Lead and coordinate execution of transactions through all stages from inception to close.
·         Develop and grow a high functioning investment banking team with deep capacity to execute debt capital markets transactions.
·         Spreading of credit risk through loan syndications.
·         Develop and manage the relationships with market regulatory authorities and other stakeholders for Debt Capital Markets transactions.
·         Preparation of customer proposals and presentations for internal and external audiences as part of business development activities for debt capital markets transactions.
·         Quality Assurance of client deliverables drafted by Analysts such as financial models, presentations and information memorandums.
·         Review clients’ business needs in a bid to structure optimal funding solutions for them.
·         Undertake continuous coordination of ongoing transactions through client update meetings, progress reports and any other agreed measures.
 Qualifications

Procurement Manager

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for the procurement process within the Services & Operations category by offering commercial advice and authorization of contracts; purchase commitments and expenditure.
Responsibilities
·         Identify the category strategy, establish and lead cross-functional teams to implement.
·         Develop and implement procurement plan for the category.
·         Optimize procurement spend within the category and ensure value for money and generate savings.
·         Use leading practice procurement tools to develop and implement the sourcing strategies.
·         Ensure that the KCB’s Social/Corporate Responsibility policy is implement within the entire procurement process for the procurement category and sub categories.
·         Manage and develop supplier relationships to deliver performance on costs, service and quality.
·         Provide input to facilitate review of policies, procedures and processes to align them to best procurement practices.
·         Continually monitor and understand internal stakeholder activities and requirements to offer effective procurement support within the category.
 Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field from a reputable University recognized by CHE.
·         Professional certification in CIPS or any other relevant qualification is added advantage.
·         Master’s degree in Business Administration is added advantage
·         Minimum of 8 years’ working experience in a busy and fast-paced Procurement Unit is required.
