Responsibilities
·
Offering pre-operative assessment
(anaesthetic screening) and management of patients.
·
Offering intra-operative management
to patients.
·
Offering post-operative management /
follow up of theatre patients/clients.
·
Giving anaesthetic advice to the
theatre /hospital team in all matters pertaining to anaesthesia.
·
Guiding and counselling patients/
clients/ staffs in matters pertaining to anaesthesia.
·
Responsible for the anaesthetic
machines and drugs.
·
Collecting and Compiling anaesthetic
data and report.
·
Performing any other duty that may be
given by the supervisor.
Requirements
·
Be a Kenyan Citizen;
·
Be a holder of a Diploma in Clinical
Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and Community Health from a
recognized institution;
·
Be a holder of a Higher National
Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Anaesthesia, from a recognized institution;
·
Have a Certificate of Registration
from the Clinical Officers’ Council.
·
Have a valid practice license.
·
Must have good inter-personal and
communication skills.
·
Satisfy the requirement of Chapter

Requirements
·
Must be a Kenya citizen.
·
Diploma in any of the following:
Diagnostic radiography/medical Imaging Sciences, ultrasound, computerized
tomography, Magnetic Resonance imaging, Mammography, Radiation Therapy and
Digital medical Imaging equipment or its equivalent from a recognized
institution.
·
Higher diploma in sonography will be
an added advantage.
·
Registration by the Kenya Radiation
protection Board.

Responsibilities
·
Management of patients in the
outpatient department using current guidelines and protocols.
·
Management of patients in the
inpatient department using current guidelines and protocols.
·
Give medical education, explain tests
and procedures to the patients
·
Maintain confidentiality and
impartiality
·
Participate in various Health Work
programs
·
Perform medical and Surgical
operations
·
Prepare and respond to emergencies
and disasters
·
Undertake requisite professional
development activities and keep up to date with medical development, new drugs,
treatment and medication
·
Performing any other duties delegated
by your respective supervisor.
Requirements
·
Must be a Kenyan citizen.
·
Holder of Bachelor of Medicine and
Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or Equivalent from an institution recognized in
Kenya.
·
Must have successfully completed
one-year internship program.
·
Registered and recognized by the
Medical Practitioners’ and Dentists Board.
·
Must have a valid practicing license.
·
Comprehensive understanding of basic
surgical procedures,
·
In depth understanding of management
of common medical condition both minpatient and outpatient care.
·
Must have good interpersonal and
Communication skills.
·
Satisfies chapter six of the
constitution.
