Manager to join the HR team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Capacity building,
mentorship/leadership and Culture
·
Collaboratively to Work with the
leadership to identify and develop Talent for the team as well succession
planning and career development plans and advise
·
Mentorship for our team as well as
cultivating a culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high
performance.
·
Help support the recruitment,
selection, orientation and training of employees for by adapting best practice.
·
Identify training needs and arrange
to conduct trainings and mentorship on regular basis.
·
Conduct Performance reviews and check
ins for the team.
·
Proactively identify and recommend to
the management HR Programs across the organizations.
·
To develop and upgrade effective HR
policies and strategies to meet the organizations objectives.
·
Communication on matters related to
HR to staff; for instance, new policies, key messaging… etc
·
To ensure compliance with employment
legislation and internal company regulations for all staff.
·
Write and review job specifications
for each role.

Management will be an added advantage.
·

Free the Children a charity organization is looking to hire a Radiographer / Sonographer.
The
radiographer’s main responsibility is to operate diagnostic equipment e.g.
X-Ray, ultrasound and CT scan to examine patients for an illness or an
accident.
The
Role will be base in the Mara.
Qualifications / Requirements:
·
Diploma in medical imaging from Kenya
Medical Training College or any other recognized institution
·
2 plus years’ experience in a busy
center in ultra sound and X-ray department
·
Must be registered by the radiation
protection Board
·
Must have a current and valid
practicing licence
·
Highly experienced in radiographing
covering a wide range of clinical examinations and applications
·
A degree of physical dexterity,
co-ordination and sensory skills required for positioning of or handling
patient
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Evaluate patients’ medical condition
and history to determine most suitable radiographic technique for diagnosis
·
Interact with patients to offer them
psychological support and address their concerns regarding an imaging procedure
·
Adjust diagnostic equipment to
deliver accurate amount of radiation to patients
·
Perform diagnostic imaging
examinations like x rays, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance
imaging
·
Produce x-ray films or radiographs of
parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems
·
Perform more complex imaging
procedures when performing fluoroscopes, e.g. radiologic technologists
·
Prepare a solution for the patient to
drink, allowing the radiologist to see soft tissues in the body.
·
Ensure radiation safety measures and
protection devices are used and observed to comply with government regulations
and to ensure safety of patients and staff
·
Ensure scheduled maintenance and
minor emergency repairs on radiographic equipment are adhered to
·
Ensure accurate documentation and
care of patients’ records

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Guide and supervise practice of
students in the nursing laboratory setting utilising the course material
provided by nursing faculty
·
Assist faculty in preparing lab packs
for course manuals
·
Maintain safety and organisation of
the nursing laboratory including the proper functioning of equipment and
accurate inventory of supplies and reorder through the head of department
·
Submit repair reports to head of
department
·
Assess the ability of students in
performing assigned tasks
·
Communicate with faculty to meet
student needs, providing feedback regarding progress or status of individual
students
·
Serve as a college tutor to meet
nursing student needs and proctor exams and/or supervise student classroom
behavior as needed
·
Observe to college, national
administrative procedures, guidelines, initiatives and advices to ensure compliance
with all relevant regulations affecting college operations
·
Perform other assigned tasks of a
similar nature or level
