Applications are invited for the position of Solar Projects Engineer at the head office in Nairobi.
Responsibilities
·
Technically lead engineering
teams on a wide range of on and off grid solar PV projects.
·
Designing and preparation of
solar PV proposals in response to customer requirements.
·
Participate in solar PV
project deployments, supervision, monitoring, inspection and desnagging.
·
Carrying out technical
service visits and provide technical support as required.
·
Understand East African
regional grid and solar PV requirements, installation standards, and
implementation costs.
·
Build relationships with
strategic equipment suppliers and serve as the key contact person for EPC
partners.
Qualifications
·
2 years‘ experience in Solar PV projects.
·
Graduate in a relevant discipline from a recognised university.
·
Minimum Upper Second Class Hons Degree.
·
Licenced as a Solar PV Technician by the ERC.
·
Written and spoken English.
·
Computer
skills including MS Office packages,
MS Project andAutocad.
·
Experience using SMA PV design
software.
·
Project management skills
including ability to organize, schedule, prioritize and multitask in a dynamic
environment.
·
Strong relational
intelligence, interpersonal, communication and writing skills.

Assistant (PA).
Responsibilities
·
Diary management, planning
and organizing for meetings.
·
Being the first point of contact for clients visiting the
executive office.
·
Preliminary draft of correspondence on behalf of COO.
·
Minutes, dictation taking and preparing papers for meetings.
·
Consolidating and summarizing reports from the business units.
·
Planning and organizing events under the COO calendar.
·
Condutcting research and findings as required.
·
Managing the filing system.
·
Managing ad hoc assignments.
Qualifications
·
A
bachelor’s degree
in Business Administration / Commerce, Accounts / Finance – Upper
2nd Class.
·
Minimum 3
years‘ of Executive / Personal Assistant experience.
·
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
·
Good analytical, report writing and presentation skills.
·
Excellent knowledge of MS
Office suite.
·
Personable, articulate, knowledgable and professional in
presentation.
·
A self starter, energetic and go-getter who can work without close
supervision.
·
Posesses exceptional multitasking abilities and be an independent
thinker who is very detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
·
A flexible inidividual able to maintain confidentiality and is
supportive to staff.
·
Be a natural forward planner, credible and comfortable dealing
with company executives.
