Business Systems Administrator

Greenland Fedha Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of KTDA Holdings and a Micro Finance Institution with a country wide network whose mandate is to provide financial services to the low income households in the tea sub-sector. We are seeking to recruit highly talented professionals to contribute positively to our business growth.
To qualify for this position, interested candidates must have a proven track record of performance, possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Computer literacy, ability to meet deadlines and deliver under pressure is essential.
Reporting to the ICT Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordination of support services to the organization, and delivery of quality services to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

·         Managing Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
·         Ensuring hardware and software is relevant and productive, while ensuring compliance with licensing.
·         Providing technical input and other reports to the management.
·         Benchmarking current solutions to market trends.
·         Implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to support SLA.
·         Evaluating user needs and changing business requirements.
·         Liaise with supervisor on issues related to the ICT service support operations.
·         Database management and ensuring business continuity.
·         ICT asset management.
·         Supporting both the internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and risk management.
·         Appraising, supporting and identifying of ICT training and developmental needs of staff.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies:
·         Bachelor of Computer Science degree, ICT, or related fields;
·         Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a dynamic business entity
·         MCSE/MCSP or CCNA/CCNP certified
·         Experience in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and tools
·         Experience in ERP implementation and Database Management
·         Must demonstrate high integrity and ethical practice
·         Must demonstrate ability to work independently and be a team player.
·         Must demonstrate ability to multitask.

Marketing Officer

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communication, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring business growth through planning and marketing services, networking with stakeholders and co-ordination of departmental activities and resources.
Key Responsibilities
·         Assisting in preparation and implementation of marketing policies, strategies and evaluating results for improvement.
·         Conducting and compiling customer satisfaction surveys and market intelligence research for existing and new business.
·         Taking part in customer feedback surveys and finding out ways to garner higher profits.
·         Preparing accurate daily reports on customer service operations, challenges, achievements and areas that require attention or review.
·         Developing branding initiatives and organizing corporate events.
·         Organizing and driving marketing campaigns to attract new members to the organization.
·         Assisting in preparation and management of budgets for marketing activities.
·         Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions while making recommendations to management.
·         Educating customers and potential customers on current product and services.
·         Organizing marketing materials for use by the sales team and for all marketing activities.
·         Preparing reports on current products with recommendations on the same.
·         Participating in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies: 
·         Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration (Marketing), or a Business Degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.
·         At least four (4) years of experience in a similar position.
·         Should have strong research and analytical skills.
·         Should have excellent communication skills- both verbal and written.
·         Must demonstrate strong problem solving and decision making skills.
·         Strong selling and negotiating skills.
·         Must demonstrate high integrity, ethical practice and ability to multi-task.

Management Trainees
Kenya Tea Development Agency (MS) Ltd is a key player in the tea industry providing management services to the smallholder tea sub-sector for efficient production, processing and marketing of quality teas.
In order to address future manpower needs, we are seeking to hire fresh university graduates to join our management trainee development program in several aspects of the business.
Position Scope
Reporting to the respective department/section Managers, the successful candidates will undergo intensive on the job training to build capacity in the various areas of management.
Qualifications

·         Hold a first degree of minimum Second Class Honours from a reputable University with specialization in any of the following fields – Food Science, Agriculture, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Human Resource Management, Procurement or Corporate Communication;

·         Be aged not more than 28 years.
