Vacant Position: Product Development Specialist – VAS

Role Purpose: The VAS Manager is responsible for developing and managing the Telkom Value Added Services portfolio based on market requirements and technology capabilities.
The role will be responsible for achieving annual revenue and product performance targets and ensuring that Telkom has and a competitive edge in the VAS domain.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
·         To develop, maintain and control specifications for Telkom VAS and messaging product portfolio taking customer concerns, business processes, organisational, cost and vendor product limitations into account. Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility and design optimization
·         Development of win-win partnerships within the VAS portfolio for Telkom through development of E2E onboarding, contracting & revenue sharing processes.
·         Ensure a seamless Customer experience on all VAS services by working closelty with internal and external stakeholders
·         Engagement with VAS partners to create a Smart VAS roadmap for Telkom and followup to ensure all products are developed and launched within scpe, budgets and timelines
·         Alignment of products and services offering to ensure optimal profitability while remaining competitive in the market
·         Monetization of the VAS business within Telkom.
·         Ensure product and services offerings are aligned to increase the customer experience, acquisition and retention for all departments
·         Ensure all VAS products are managed through the existing Time To Market processes.
·         External stakeholders management such as regulators, MNOs and Content partners.
Academic / Professional Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
·         At least 2-3 years in telecommunication/ VAS product development
·         Experience working with VAS partners, Content developers and aggregators is an added advantage.

Business Analyst

Role Purpose: We are seeking an individual who is dynamic by nature and passionate with a track record of delivering results to join our Enterprise Team. He/she will be responsible for ensuring identification, facilitation and execution of sales opportunities within current and new SME clients in order to maximise sales and growth of revenue for Telkom within the appointed area.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
·         Translate business requirements to System/Functional requirements, and pass these to Application Developers.
·         Assembling of data and verification of its integrity.
·         Ensure the migration project is done competently and targeted towards improving customer experience.
·         Regular tracking and reporting on projects.
·         Ensure regular monitoring of customer satisfaction within the agreed objectives.

·         Define and monitor operations and administration within department and externally.
Academic / Professional Qualifications
·         Business degree preferably in Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or Engineering.
·         3-5 years’ experience in a similar position

Role Purpose: We are seeking an individual who is dynamic by nature and passionate with a track record of delivering results to join our Enterprise Team. This role is responsible for designing initiatives, enforce plans and measure channel sales effectiveness.
In addition, the job holder will be required to develop recommendations and create solutions to complex, ambiguous and highly visible channel sales issues, with the goal of driving significant business growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
·         Coach and mentor the sales team to grow into successful team members.
·         Support the development and implementation of sales methodology to increase acquisitions and retention.
·         Build compelling and crisp communication geared towards driving improved sales productivity.
·         Review sales delivery effectiveness and identify training needs.
·         Maintain up – to – date benchmarks and comparative analysis of sales culture and sales performance.
·         Measure, analyse and enhance the performance of revenue generation activities connected with sales effectiveness.
·         Create written content to educate sales team and ensure regular review of the same.
·         Build out a calendar of formal and informal sessions covering new hire sales training, product launches, demo skills training, ongoing skill development, sales boot-camps, internal process updates etc.
Academic/ Professional Qualifications
·         Business degree preferably in Sales & Marketing or Business Administration/ Management
·         3-5 years in Sales Enablement, Coaching, Training, Change Management, Project Management
·         MBA or CIM qualifications will be an added advantage
