Waumini Cooperative is a National
SACCO that is registered by SASRA with its head office in Nairobi and other
branches in Nakuru, Kisii and Rongai. We draw our membership from the catholic
institutions as well as the catholic faithful.
We intend to fill the position(s)
below on a Six Month Renewable Contract.
Field Officers
Key Responsibilities
·
Recruit new members in the Parishes
and the Catholic Institutions as per set targets
·
Sell loans to existing members as per
set targets and educate members on loan uptake
·
Promote customer retention
·
To solve issues the members might be
going through in relation to the Sacco.
·
Identify markets and develop ways of
entry to the market
·
Give sales presentation to potential
clients
·
Advise members on the best products
that match their needs.
·
Be the link person between the Sacco
and prospective/existing members
·
Any other duty as delegated from time
to time
Minimum Qualification and
Competencies
·
Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a
business related qualification from a recognized institution in the same level.
·
At least six months relevant
experience. Prior experience in the financial industry is an added advantage.
·
Presentable and a good communicator
·
Requires Minimum supervision
·
Upholding sound ethical standards,
integrity and honesty.

Marketing Manager
This position report to the Sacco’s
CEO.
Minimum
Requirements
·
Bachelor’s degree in Business Related
Field (Marketing specialization is preferred)
·
Excellent leadership, supervisory and
management skills
·
Excellent ability to grow the
business
·
4 years’ experience at the same
level, preferably in financial sector
·
Professional Membership to Marketing
Society of Kenya and a professional qualification in CIM is an added advantage
Main Duties
a) Business Development and Planning
·
Managing all marketing activities for
the society
·
Planning and implementing promotional
campaigns
·
Participate in pricing the SACCO
services/products and Operations.
·
Prepare the Marketing annual budget
in coordination with the Finance Department and
·
Develop strategies to position
Waumini Sacco Products, services and market positions to take advantage of
identified market opportunities and to differentiate the Sacco from
competition.
b) Management and Market Research
·
Develop and administer comprehensive
marketing plans for the SACCO within the approved annual budgets and Conduct
market research/studies for the SACCO, analyse results, and present a timely
written report where workable recommendations are made to management.
·
Represent the Society in any forum as
directed by the Chief Executive Officer or Board of Directors,
·
Creation and publication of all
marketing materials in line with marketing plans among other roles
