Healthcare Strategy & Innovation Manager 

Job Purpose
The Healthcare Strategy and Innovation Manager will assume primary responsibility for promoting SST collaboration in Healthcare through commercial partnerships, R&D collaboration, and sharing of policy and best practice.
The jobholder will be responsible for identifying strategic opportunities and contacts, initiating and organizing activities and platforms for collaboration, and delivering results for mutually beneficial links between SST and her partners.

Responsibilities

·         Responsible for the organization work in the Healthcare sector, delivering on an ambitious strategy and further developing it, identifying new strategic partnerships and pursuing business opportunities between Seven Seas Technologies and other organizations in the Healthcare field
·         Initiate, plan and execute activities to facilitate business collaboration and to raise awareness of opportunities. These include business delegations, conferences and networking events, attracting the best industry players and opinion leaders. The jobholder will work collaboratively with colleagues and external partner organizations on these activities.
·         Build and maintain sector expertise and a network of contacts with relevant decision makers, companies, entrepreneurs, experts and investors. The jobholder should be able to open doors, understand business needs, identify opportunities and deliver business results.
·         Facilitate introductions and follow up with companies and individuals to convert leads and opportunities into concrete business outcomes, and will track, monitor and report these in a timely way.
·         Represent the organization in tech partnership publicly and in writing, and convincingly present the opportunities for collaboration.

Qualifications

·         BA required, MA or higher preferred.  Preferably in biotech / medical sciences or business or technology fields.
·         Acquaintance with the life sciences or Digital Health landscape in Kenya– required. Bringing a personal business network from – a strong plus
·         2-3 years’ experience organizing events
·         Management experience is preferred.
·         Strong presentation skills (oral and written).
·         Comfortable working in an IT environment (Microsoft Office, Google apps, CRM, etc.)


ICT Risk & Compliance Manager 
Job Purpose
ICT Risk and Compliance Manager is responsible to maintain the IT Risk Framework and its associated controls and reporting. This role is responsible to evaluate overall information technology risk, maintain an active view, and report on the actual, mitigated and residual risk in the technology organization.

Responsibilities

·         Identify, assess and evaluate risk to enable the execution of the risk management strategy.
·         Risk Response: Develop and implement risk responses to ensure that risk factors are addressed in a cost-effective manner and in line with business objectives.
·         Risk Monitoring: Monitor risk and communicate information to the relevant stakeholders to ensure the continued effectiveness of the enterprise’s risk management strategy.
·         Design and implement information systems controls in alignment with the organization’s risk appetite and tolerance levels to support business objectives.
·         Monitor and maintain information systems controls to ensure they function effectively and efficiently.
·         Coordinate the development and ongoing maintenance of other IT policies and procedures.
·         Ensure that all IT policies and procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements.
·         Maintain the Information Disaster Recovery Plan including annual reviews
·         Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes.
·         Design or implement improvements in communication, monitoring, or enforcement of compliance standards.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor of Commerce degree in auditing and equivalent.
·         3-4 years auditing experience as a compliance manager, information risk specialist, or information technology auditor.
·         2-3 years management experience in information technology functions.
·         Experience in healthcare industry is preferred
·         CRISC Certification is preferred
·         Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Word, Advanced Excel, Access, PowerPoint
·         Report writing skills are required, Must be able to summarize and communicate technical data to a non-technical audience.


Government Liaison  
Job Purpose
The Government Liaison supports the Chief Information Officer and facilitates interaction with Government authorities in Kenya. He/she is directly responsible for the collaboration between the organization and Government to ensure ongoing projects and new projects run smoothly. The jobholder serves as the primary direct contact – under supervision of the Chief Information Officer to all government bodies partnering with Seven Seas Technologies.

Responsibilities

·         Day to day liaison with Government counterparts of the project at national or county level and program team at Seven Seas Technologies to support effective implementation of the various activities under the project
·         Collect information, data and documents relevant to specific activities, from various partners and under the guidance of the project experts, undertake relevant analysis of data
·         Provide support in organizing meetings and consultation workshops under the project and support the project team in undertaking documentation and capturing the proceedings of the meetings
·         Maintain work calendar and activities scheduled of the project and undertake necessary follow-up actions as assigned
·         Conduct daily review of electronic and print media and take appropriate action.
·         Extract health issues affecting international, national and the County from the media and give feed back to the Chief Officer of Health.
·         Draft speeches, statements, briefings and written communication ensuring high level of consistency and accuracy of content.
·         Any other task assigned by the Project Team

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or media studies
·         Understanding of healthcare challenges in Kenya
·         Evidence of successful change management in previous employment
·         Minimum 3 years of experience in Healthcare sector preferably in the field of liaison with Government.
·         Familiarity of working with national and local government systems in Kenya

·         Proficiency in written and spoken English
·         Proficiency in computer related skills

National Dealership Manager 
Job Purpose
The National Dealership Manager will act as the main point of contact between Seven Seas Technologies and the agencies. This role involves the planning, management and coordination of the agencies for the achievement of SST clients’ expectations.

Responsibilities

·         Recruitment of new agents, in accordance with laid down regulations regarding agent recruitment
·         Ensuring training of agents as per business requirements
·         Set monthly agency goals and measure results vs. goals.
·         Build and maintain strong customer relationship by providing excellent customer service.
·         Identify performance improvement areas and provide recommendations.
·         Communicate agency performance levels including areas of concern to management.
·         Develop action plans for improving agency performance.
·         Follow all company and safety guidelines and policies.
·         Develop business improvement initiatives based on current market trends and competitors.
·         Manage agency operators to achieve company goals and objectives.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree required,  Preferably in biotech / medical sciences, business or technology fields
·         2-3 years’ experience in an agency function
·         Experience of having built a territory from scratch would be an added advantage
·         Management experience is preferred.

Manager Enterprise Architect
Job Purpose
The position is responsible for development and implementation of an enterprise architecture lifecycle framework for both internal and external customers and stakeholders as well as providing overall leadership and mentoring to the enterprise architecture team.

Responsibilities

·         Draft and oversee adoption and implementation of enterprise architecture framework to be applied for all customer technology projects.
·         Ensure that customer requirements are met at all times. Oversee adherence to the signed off solutions scope and design during project delivery.
·         Ensure that all application development teams are adequately supported to meet customer requirements.
·         Performance management of the solutions architect team, including regular performance reviews based on client KPIs.
·         Responsible for the overall pre-sales function to existing and new clients so as to generate revenue.
·         Review proposals for technical accuracy and appropriateness in consultation with the Head of Sales.
·         In liaison with the Chief Technical officer, make strategic decisions on execution of the departmental business plans.
·         Provide mentorship and overall leadership to the enterprise architecture team.

Qualifications

·         Degree in ICT/computer science/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.
·         Relevant Certifications in Enterprise Architectural design e.g. TOGAF
·         Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture, including application, databases, operating systems, networking and analytics
·         At least 6 years of advanced-level IT experience, implementing and supporting significant business application projects/systems.

Healthcare projects Program Manager
Job Purpose
Responsible for significant, company-wide projects, typically with large budgets and sizeable staff, focused on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors and stakeholders; Leads the design, testing, planning, and implementation of complex projects within the organization business portfolio.

Responsibilities

·         Planning, development and implementation.
·         Lead the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of plans and programs to meet the goals and priorities of the technology business.
·         Participate in external wide activities to maintain knowledge on developments in the field. Establish liaisons with key stakeholders and other vendor users to keep abreast of status of computing and communications activities across all business segments.
·         Project planning, coordination and communication
·         Continuously improve project management toolkits and methodologies used within the organization. Provide expertise and consulting to project managers in the project management processes.
·         Drive projects organizational change taking full account of obstacles, opposition, and differing stakeholder priorities. Acts as a champion for business process changes; act behind the scenes to craft solutions for business problems related to the project.
·         Manage the program’s budget, monitoring the expenditure and costs against program benefits as well as providing audit data as required.

HIS Software Applications Lead
The position is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of Healthcare Application Solutions for internal and external clients

Responsibilities

·         Draft and oversee adoption, implementation and support of Healthcare Information Systems (HIS) for customer technology projects.
·         In collaboration with the project managers, document HIS solutions clearly and effectively to produce detailed functional specifications that meets the clients’/ business requirements.
·         Oversee adherence to the signed off solutions scope and design during project delivery.
·         Ensure that all application development teams are adequately supported to meet customer requirements.
·         In collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture Manager, carry out pre-sales function to existing and new clients so as to generate revenue.
·         In liaison with the Enterprise Architecture Manager, Presales Manager and Head of Sales review proposals for technical accuracy and appropriateness.
·         Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with HIS Application Architectures.
·         Keeps up-to-date with industry developments, ensuring that best practice is adopted and seeks to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
·         Provide team leadership and mentorship for the Healthcare Applications team.
·         Leverage of Business and Technical innovations in the Healthcare Applications space

Qualifications

·         Degree in Science/ Computer Science/ Engineering or any other relevant qualification
·         Relevant Certifications in ICT Application, Infrastructure or Management.
·         At least 5 years work experience, 3 of which should be at advanced-level IT experience, implementing and supporting significant business application projects/systems.
·         Good understanding of ICT integration frameworks and protocols e.g. ESB, Middleware etc.
·         Good understanding of ICT infrastructure, including servers, databases and server operating systems, networking and IS security.
