Industry Product Application Engineer
The role will be responsible for ensuring resources, competencies and capabilities are positioned to support the mission of a growing transactional business leveraging the distribution channel in particular.
Objectives:
·         Maximise control, automation & drives product sales by using technical competence to give credibility and support to our sales and internal teams and to our channel partners
·         Develop a rich opportunity pipeline with measurable tasks and outcomes
·         Promote the team within the sales team to achieve high utilisation
·         Equip our distributor partners to be an extension to the internal sales force
·         Use of company tools such as the BFO CRM to manage opportunities and actions
·         By continual development, ensure a broad product knowledge coverage by the team
Key Responsibilities:
·         Work systematically with each channel/countries within the zones to create clear focus on resource deployment, up skilling, and enhance competences and capabilities.
·         Map the current state and apply the Industry playbook and create actions to support the transformation to the future state where all offers are commercialized and available for sale and the sales teams are aware and able to make the offer.
·         To create action plans, business planning and review on a regular basis.
·         Achieving sales through:
1.   Prime route to sale in areas of highly technical consultative applications
2.   Preparation of technical presentations and demonstrations
3.   Identification of product differentiators
4.   Adaptation of the Schneider offer to the customer application
5.   Advice to the customer regarding his process or solution
6.   Design of innovative, ring-fenced solutions
7.   System architecture design
8.   Standards and legislation compliant solutions
·         Provide Customer Support by:
1.   Solving customer hardware, software and application problems in a highly abstractive, non-repetitive environment.
2.   Advising on the choice and application of Schneider equipment
3.   Bespoke training
·         Distributor and Integrator Partner Support:
1.   Assessment of skills
2.   Learning path definition
3.   Techno-commercial training
4.   Joint visits
5.   Roadshow/Exhibition Demos and manning
Role Requirement:
·         Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

·         At least 5-7 years of technical & commercial experience
·         Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
·         Accreditation and Affiliation with international Standards body and Engineering
·         Effective interpersonal and communication skills
·         Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively while delivering under pressure
·         Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
·         Be able to work within approved budget, develops and implement cost saving measures and conserve organizational resources.
·         Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner;

Job Vacancy: Distribution Sales Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities
·         To develop and grow Specialized Distributor sales in Schneider Electric offered product solution with the company’s objectives
·         Prioritize markets and determine market entry strategies for SE product portfolios
·         Collect and analyze sale out data to drive growth and develop market
·         Ensure revenue targets of distributors are achieved within the responsible market/ territories
·         Ensure distributors are equipped with the necessary sales skills to represent SE product through coaching and observing the performance of distributors
·         Develop and exe Budget, monitor and achieve annual sales targets of the territory.
·         To ensure that distributors have sufficient capacity to support local markets, including sales force.
·         Plan work schedule by balancing travel requirements
·         Formulate and implement strategies to achieve agreed sales targets, train resellers, run promotions, and launch new products in designated region.
·         Prepare Weekly and Monthly Sales reports.
·         Maintain records on other related market activities including those on competitive products to advise management accordingly.
·         Use knowledge of the local market to assist management in developing the appropriate mix of products for your regional market.
Role Requirements
·         Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, electrical or related field
·         Prior experience in a similar field in an electrical industry preferred
·         Experienced in Marketing Offer role > 5 years is an added advantage
·         Experience with required education 10 years of related experience within market segments & industry
·         Experience without required education 10-15 years of related experience within market segments & industry
·         Solution-base selling experience
·         Networking – build and sustain an active network of both customer and internal company contacts to understand business processes and opportunities.
·         Identify key decision makers, create and build relationships.
·         Drive for Results – strong will to compete and win and achieve in business environment.
·         Outstanding presentation skills required.
·         Must have demonstrated negotiation skills, be a self-starter, and a strong closer. Understanding of large business organizations and their buying cycles
