Senior Supply Chain Officer

(COAST REGION), JOB GROUP 4, PS 1, 1 POST KPC/ADV/19/2017
To provide operational leadership and technical support to users on all Supply Chain matters in the regions, thereby offering timely and world class service and value for money to KPC.

Key Responsibilities

·         Enforce compliance of Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 (PPADA, 2015) and related regulations including statutory reporting both statutory and administrative.
·         Enhance partnership with users through continuous weekly reporting of procurement updates and monitoring of projects
·         Implement best practices in procurement and inventory management processes and offer excellent customer service to users
·         Be the single point of contact (SPOC) in the region for all Supply Chain matters
·         Co-ordinate receipt, opening and evaluation, opinion and awards of tender within the regions
·         Oversee the full P2P (procure to pay cycle) from raising of PR’s, POs up to payment in a timely manner.
·         Maintain, safeguard and archive procurement and disposal documents and records
·         Lead regional meetings and track performance weekly through KPIs.
·         Continuously perform the registration of suppliers and deliver on the AGPO presidential directives on affirmative action
·         Oversee the replenishment of stock items from PS10 or from vendors to comply with stock policy
·         Manage stocks and stores activities of receipt, binning, Inspection and issuing as per procedures
·         Perform monthly stock counts and weekly cycle counts followed by complete reconciliations
·         Perform half yearly obsolete stock identification and disposal
·         Prepare and submit all quarterly reports for consolidation for onward transmission to government agencies.
·         Lead in the reporting and tracking of all procurement activities within their regions
·         Any other duties relevant to the function.

Qualifications & Experience required for appointment

·         Minimum eight (6) years relevant experience.
·         Minimum 2 years’ experience in leading teams
·         Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Business Administration, Law, Engineering or any other relevant field from a recognized university.
·         Diploma or certificate in Supply Chain management from a recognized institute
·         Membership to professional bodies of CIPS (UK) and KISM
·         Supplies Practitioners license

To provide operational leadership in category procurement process that offers timely and world class service to users and value for money.

Key Responsibilities

Senior Foundation Officer
JOB GROUP 4 – (KPC/ADV/16/2018) – 1 POST
Reporting to the Foundation Manager, the role is responsible for ensuring that the Company achieves
substantive improvements in its ongoing commitment to become a more sustainable and socially responsible company. A key part of this role will be to coordinate overall environmental and social specific KPC Foundation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

·         Implement the corporate social responsibility strategy of KPC Foundation.
·         Facilitate and coordinate viable partnerships with other Foundation stakeholders
·         Coordinate the activities of KPC’s network of community champions across the region
·         Organize communication forums for KPC Community Champions in conjunction with other stakeholders
·         Facilitate the disbursement of grants and donations from the KPC Foundation to beneficiaries
·         Fast track and facilitate initiatives that promote KPC’s Foundation commitment.
·         Facilitate presentation of approved funds and ensure appropriate publicity and profiling
·         Conduct research on the impact of KPC Foundation’s initiatives and implement remedial actions
·         Facilitate sustainability reporting for the KPC
·         Monitor the implementation of funded projects and evaluate their impacts
·         Originate and disseminate relevant reports on the activities of the KPC Foundation
·         Design and maintain data collection systems, ensuring that necessary information is collected, analysed, and used to guide the different projects.
·         Conduct regular reviews of the data to enable the team to identify whether targets are being met and take immediate corrective actions so as to guide the Foundation.
·         Perform analysis of data and information collected from the field monthly and quarterly to examine trends and identify gaps and well as strengthens and areas of intervention.
Key Competencies
·         Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
·         Crossfunctional, multidisciplinary project management and business analysis skills
·         Proven networking skills and a demonstrated capacity to work independently and in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
·         Have good report writing and communication skills
·         A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
·         Result driven and willing to work under tight deadlines
·         Ability to travel within the region of KPC’s operation in pursuit of the company’s CSR objectives.
·         High level of integrity.

Qualifications & Experience required for appointment

·         Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Social Sciences, Development studies, Statistics and Economics.
·         Professional qualification in Community Development, Public Relations and Communication will be an added advantage.
·         Minimum of six (6) years relevant experience.
·         Experience in foundation management and/or related activities
·         Membership to a relevant professional body
