Job Description: Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Procurement Officer has overall responsibility of leading the procurement strategy development and execution for Tulinde Tusome project, supporting its implementation and meeting the donor objectives.
S/he will make timely and cost-effective procurement decisions that secure value for money.
S/he must determine product need and identify, communicate and negotiate with suppliers while setting up shipments, deliveries and payment schedules for proactive front end program support to meet project needs and requirements in compliance with Donor Grants and Plan procedures and regulations.

Job Description: The scope of the role will entail advising Country Management Team and security management teams/focal persons on various security matters; contribute in implementing the global security policies and strategies and facilitate the rollout of security Standards, Operating Procedures, and regular reporting on compliance.
Train local focal teams and management on Plan security guidelines, risk assessments and facilitating external training as necessary.
Ensure timely reporting of security incidences in line with the relevant policies and procedures.
Disseminate security information from Plan International Headquarters (IH) and or external if not available in country to aid country leadership with decision making and proactive actions.
