its market share expansion within the Nairobi metropolis. It is looking for a
Sales Manager to run its overall sales and last mile distribution strategy.
The successful candidate will not
only play a key role in driving the organisation’s revenue but also directly
impact its growth and success.

Detailed Responsibilities
Define sales and last mile
distribution strategies
·
Define and manage a clear sales
strategy that can be rolled out across the Nairobi metropolis
·
Forecast and plan activities as well
as budgets in line with the defined sales strategy
·
Obtain buy-in and drive the
implementation of the defined strategy
·
Adapt – make quick adjustments to
establish a suitable strategy that results in continuous growth
Execute sales and last mile
distribution strategies
·
Build a strong last mile distribution
network and have it deliver against plan, i.e. identify, evaluate, appoint and
onboard agents and modern trade entities overseen by a team of Sales Reps and
Brand Ambassadors
·
Set-up all parties of the
distribution network for success, i.e. provide training, assist in obtaining
finance, provide guidance etc.
·
Build relationships and appropriately
collaborate with stakeholders that are key to the distribution network
Manage the sales team – both internal
and external teams
·
Build strong teams by recruiting,
mentoring, motivating and equipping robust sales professionals
·
Manage the performance of a
target-driven internal and external sales team in line with agreed KPIs, ie.
sales and market expansion targets
·
Create an appropriate reward
structure for the internal and external members of your team
·
Develop a strong team culture focused
on success
Does this sound like you?
·
5 to 15 relevant experience in FMCG
·
3 – 5 years experience in the rapid
growth environment, i.e. building a new business or product category
·
Appreciation for a start-up
environment, ‘roll-up sleeves’ attitude, entrepreneurial and growth mindset
·
Enjoys being in the field but also
able to work strategically with the other senior executives in the company
·
High emotional intelligence,
challenges boundaries and delivery focused
·
Strong negotiation, interpersonal and
project management skills
·
Promotions and market activations

increase its market share within the Nairobi metropolis.
It is seeking a Marketing Executive
who can define and quickly adjust creative consumer focused strategies and
implementation plans in order to meet its ambitious market share and revenue
goals.
This role is ideal for a candidate
who is keen to progress in their career in/with a rapidly growing organisation.
They will have the opportunity to interact
with Lattana’s senior management to define and influence the organisation’s
marketing strategies.
Detailed
Responsibilities
Develop marketing strategies
·
Develop consumer focussed marketing
strategies; these will need to be offline and online with activities creatively
tied together to convey Lattana’s brand values of a Smile Inside every pack
·
Define the success metrics against
which the marketing strategy will be measured
·
Fail fast – Make quick adjustments to
the marketing strategy based on the outcome
Execute marketing strategies
·
Define and implement a rolling 3
month plan that delivers against the marketing strategy in coordination with
the sales team
·
Increase brand awareness and
understanding in the marketplace
·
Track and report on the effectiveness
of the implemented strategy against the organisation’s objectives
Collaborate
·
Understand both sides of Lattana’s
market in order to creatively tailor marketing strategies to their needs
·
Work with colleagues across internal
teams to track product updates and company announcements and share with key
audiences (i.e. agents, customers, media, partners)
·
Recruit, manage and motivate the
temporary staff required for product activations and campaigns. This will be
with support from the HR Administrator
·
Have face to face engagements with
customers and external distribution network to solicit feedback on the
effectiveness of the marketing campaigns

Recruit

Assess the hiring needs across
departments and create a recruitment plan at organizational level to ensure no
staffing gaps

Manage the staff recruitment process
·
Effectively onboard new hires to set
them up for success in their roles; ensure all roles have job profiles and
delivery metrics
Support

Be the first point of contact for all
HR-related queries
·
Create and maintain physical and
electronic staff records
·
Set up and manage the performance
appraisal process of staff by managers and of managers by their peers and the
board
·
Be responsible for the staff training
budget and have a strategy to develop the capability of the staff to deliver
their jobs and expand their capabilities over time
Engage
·
Implement and ensure compliance with
the organisational policies, strategies as well as procedures
·
Analyse and refine policies,
strategies as well as procedures to address changes required as the
organisation grows
·
Facilitate communication across the
organisation by fostering top-bottom and bottom-up flow of information, ideas,
