Job Introduction:
Responsibilities
Effective management of the
division’s financial performance
·
Manage relationship between actual
results, budgets and forecasts.
·
Responsibility for the day to day
Bank services operations and resourcing to meet Customer and budget
expectations
·
Direct activities related to
collecting, dispatching, routing, tracking and delivery of courier
shipments (Mailbags and other related express documents)
·
Effective management and control of
service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) as agreed
with customers and identifying areas of improvement
·
Initiate cost saving model and
controls
·
Ensure Labour Efficiency according to
standards
·
Ensure Overheads control according to
standards
·
Achieve Contract profitability
according to targets
·
Prevent claims through regular
customer risk assessments
·
Achieve existing Revenue Growth
·
Manage escalation to completion
·
Promote safe work activities by
conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with
individual staff members
Effective management of the
division’s people performance

Proper allocation of employees to
positions to fulfil contract requirements

Qualifications

Relevant Tertiary qualification
·
Over Six years’ relevant work
experience

Five years’ experience in operations

Job Introduction:
Reporting to the Assistant Operations
Manager/Logistics Manager – G4S Kenya Courier Solutions, the Logistics
Supervisor coordinates the provision of contractual and ad hoc courier
Logistics services to customers, in compliance with legislation, G4S policies
and procedures, to ensure achievement of budgeted financial targets. The
incumbent is also responsible for monitoring the quality;oversees the shipping
and delivery of materials and warehouse personnel.Managing the loading of
trucks, setting up delivery routes and unloading of material.
Responsibilities
·
Schedule shipment Deliveries.
·
Booking for collections; Order, pick,
pack, ship and reverse logistics
·
Build relationships with customers
·
Maintain warehouse/Courier Inventory
-Support inventory management consisting of reconciling and maintaining of
collections and deliveries of customer materials.
·
Managing and maintaining good client
relations based on service delivery, continuous improvement, value add and
effective reporting of operations
·
Support simplification and
standardization of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies.
·
Lead subordinates to develop,
articulate and maintain logistics processes and documentation.
·
Implement contractual agreements to
ensure effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery as per Service Level
Agreement.
Qualifications

Understanding planning, shipping,
warehouse management and inventory systems
·
Managing daily routes/schedules of

Tracking the progress of shipments

Knowing all aspects of warehouse
