The Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration (NCIA) is a newly established Arbitration Centre, whose principal mandate is to promote, facilitate and encourage the use of domestic and international arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution in Kenya.
The NCIA is seeking to identify and recruit self-motivated, dynamic and result oriented Interns to fill the following positions:

ICT Internship

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Information technology (BSC I.T) or Bachelor’s degree in
·         Computer Technology or Computer Science from a recognized institution of higher learning
·         Knowledge in installation and maintenance of antivirus products
·         Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions
·         Knowledge of Web development
·         Overall knowledge of computer software and hardware
·         Network troubleshooting skills
·         Hands on skills in ICT environment services preferred
·         Professional certifications in ICT preferred.
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills
·         Spirit of service, Integrity and principled stewardship
·         Interested in Learning and innovation
·         Candidates who have knowledge in Library software will have an added advantage
Additional Information
·         Stipend will be paid monthly as provided by Government Internship Policy
·         Duration of Program is Five (5) months

Librarian Internship

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Information technology from a recognized institution of higher learning
·         Overall knowledge of computer software and hardware
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills
·         Spirit of service, Integrity and principled stewardship
·         Candidates who have knowledge in Library software will have an added advantage
·         Candidate who is conversant with Library management
·         Knowledge of Handling Library Cataloging, classification, abstracting & Indexing
·         Knowledge in reference resources, binding, accessioning, preservation
·         Ability to undertake Library collections

Supply Chain Management Internship

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution

·         A Diploma in Supplies ‘Management or its approved equivalent from a recognized.
·         Member of a recognized SCM professional body such as KISM is an added advantage
·         Experience and knowledge in procurement procedures and legislations of the Government of Kenya will be required.
·         Ability to relate well with both internal and external customers and work in teams
·         Ability to work without supervision

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or business management related field from a recognized institution of higher learning
·         Holder of diploma in Human Resource Management
·         Member of Institute of Human Resource Management is an added advantage
·         Demonstrates reliability, flexibility and creativity
·         Experience in records management, maintaining the HR filing systems and staff files in an orderly manner
·         Ability to relate well with both internal and external customers and work in teams
·         Ability to work without supervision

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in commerce finance and accounting option
·         Holder of certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) or ACCA is an added advantage
·         Experience in finance & Accounting field
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills
·         Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations preferably using automated systems
·         Ability to relate well with both internal and external customers and work in teams
·         Ability to work without supervision
