1.           Establishing and managing relationships/linkages with data sources, public and private organizations, trade promotion organizations, to facilitate acquisition and exchange of information;
2.           Coordinating the management of the Centre for Business Information in Kenya (CBIK) to ensure high efficiency and quality of service;
3.           Overseeing implementation and maintenance of informative, efficient and interactive trade information web portals.
4.           Overseeing the implementation and continuous review of a Customer Relationship Management system
5.           Overseeing the Implementation and monitoring of policies on use of E-Trade in export promotion;
6.           Overseeing the implementation of the exporters outreach and county engagement programme
7.           Developing and overseeing the implementation of income generating cost recovery opportunities in the department.
