Job Vacancy: Store Clerk
Job Summary
The store clerk is expected to have exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills which will be very useful in his/her daily routine. Speed and accuracy will be expected so as to save organizational time and resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:

·                     Maintain outstanding store condition by ensuring the store is clean and tidy at all times
·                     Ensure a systematic mode of stock movement. FIFO method is most preferred
·                     Coordinate the delivery team in arranging the incoming raw materials and products accordingly in the stores.
·                     Work hand-in-hand with the sales team to ensure all products from the store are well accounted for and documented.
·                     Maintains a safe and clean store environment by developing and publishing evacuation routes; determining and documenting locations of potentially dangerous materials and chemicals.
·                     Maintains inventory by checking merchandise to determine inventory levels and anticipating customer demand.
·                     Handle merchandize in the store in a safe and secure manner.
·                     During purchase, ensure all due processes are followed to the letter
·                     Receive and inspect goods procured and ensure documents involved are updated daily
·                     Submit invoices to accounts on items received daily
·                     Ensure that goods in store are properly shelved and appropriate document issued
·                     Assist the manager to review and update the list of suppliers periodically
·                     Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
·                     Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
·                     Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
·                     Ensure high levels of customers’ satisfaction through excellent service delivery
Education and Experience:
·                     Diploma in  procurement, supply chain management or a relevant field
·                     Undergraduate degree from a recognized University will be an added advantage.
·                     2 years proven experience as a successful store keeper
·                     Valid certificate of good conduct
Key Competences:
·                     Customer management skills
·                     Strong organizational skills
·                     Good communication and interpersonal skills
·                     Basic English and Maths skills
