WE is seeking experienced 
part time Drivers to join our team. 
 
The position is based in both of ME to WE’s office in both Nairobi and the Mara region in Kenya.



Key Measurable Goals

1.   Cleanliness of the Car and Personal hygiene   
2.   Good Customer service and behavior.
3.   Responsibility of the vehicle.


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

1.           Minimum 5 years’ driving experience;
2.           KCSE Certificate;
3.           Possession of clean driving license (class ABCE);
4.           Must hold a PSV badge;
5.           No criminal record with supporting certificate of good conduct;
6.           Fluent in English both oral and written.


Duties & Responsibilities

1.   You inform the Operations Director when the car is due for service after every 5000 Km and driving at a MAXIMUM of 80KPH at all times.
2.   Making sure that the car has the right licenses required by the law and if not inform Operations Manager immediately. Also ensure you have your valid license at all times
3.   During the high season; March, May, June, July and August, you ARE EXPECTED TO BE ON CALL 24 hours EVERYDAY. It is IMPORTANT that you keep your phone with full charge and on AT ALL TIMES and PICK office phone calls.  Only answer personal phone calls when away from guests.
4.   You will be responsible for placards after every airport pick up and you will be held financially responsible for any broken or defaced placards.
5.   All drivers are expected to be properly showered, shaved and in clean uniform when handling any groups.  No caps allowed unless issued.
6.   Every driver is expected to take responsibility for any vehicle assigned to him, including cleanliness and maintenance. All vehicles are expected to be CLEAN at all times.  As is the normal policy, drivers are financially responsible for breakage. NO EXCHANGE OF VEHICLE ASSIGNED IS ALLOWED without clearance from the office.
7.   All vehicles are to be fueled at the designated petrol stations, No vehicle is be to fueled without consent of the Operations Director. Hours for fueling are strictly 8am to 6pm weekdays and Saturdays, and 8am to 9am on Sundays. Ensure your vehicle is fueled at these hours prior to your trip, the driver shall be responsible for fueling the vehicle out of their own pocket if they fail to meet this time. ALWAYS have a full tank when heading to the airport and the Mara.
8.   Any complaints regarding schedules or vehicles, or other drivers are to be taken through the office. As soon as a vehicle breaks down, call the office immediately


Key Competencies
1.           Ability to drive a manual vehicle;
2.           Good knowledge of Nairobi & its environs;
3.           Willing to work flexible hours;
4.           Ability to drive at night;
5.           Attention to detail and able to follow instructions;
6.           High level of personal hygiene.
