Our Client Hass Consult Real Estate is a comprehensive Real Estate firm that is working towards developing new innovations and continually bringing dynamism to the industry in Kenya. 

The company is seeking to recruit a highly ambitious candidate to fill in the following position in their Nairobi office:
 
Chief Accountant
  
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors, the purpose of this role is to direct and oversee all of the financial activities, including the preparation of financial reports and forecasts for future business growth. 

The position will also be responsible for controlling the finance and accountancy functions to ensure that proper systems of financial controls are in place. 

In addition, the incumbent will ensure compliance with the Company and International Accounting Standards.
 
Principal Accountabilities
·                     Formulating annual budgets in close relation with departments for Board approval
·                     Analyzing and forecasting critical financial performance indicators such as cash flow, cost controls and actual figures against budgets/targets and conveying these analyses to the CEO, the Board Committee and recommend corrective actions where needed
·                     Ensuring optimal investment of excess funds to maximize investment income and all statutory returns are filed in a timely manner
·                     Assessing the long-term financial trends and reviewing prospects for future growth of income and new property areas, and pinpoint potential weak areas
·                     Creating, coordinating and evaluating the financial programs and supporting information systems of the business unit to include budgeting and tax planning
·                     Preparing final accounts for audit and tax purposes, payroll and all related returns
·                     Reviewing property developer reports, landlord remittances, tenants rental collections, tenants agreements and sale agreement and posting to Quick Books and related ledgers
·                     Liaising with sales, letting, property development and management team
·                     Preparing and reconciling client Trust account and maintaining property management account
·                     Overall management of the administration team

Key Qualifications and Experience
·                     Bachelor’s Degree in Business or any other relevant discipline
·                     Must have ACCA/ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing
·                     At least 5 years working experience in management preferably real estate sector
·                     Extensive corporate and personal tax experience
·                     Conversant with Quick Books and financial statements
·                     Proven leadership and ability to drive Sales teams
·                     Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
·                     Excellent communication and presentation skills

Development Sales Manager
 

Reporting to the Development Director, the Development Sales Manager will be responsible for ensuring development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. 

The incumbent will also ensure that key relationships with company clients are maintained.
 
Principal Accountabilities
·                     Developing sales strategy for the market in line with company sales goals and profitability
·                     Broad leadership of development sales team
·                     Maintaining relationships with key clientele
·                     Preparing and maintaining department reports
·                     Initiating and coordinating development of action plans to penetrate new markets
Key Qualifications and Experience
·                     Bachelor’s Degree in Business or any other relevant discipline
·                     At least 4 years working experience in sales management preferably real estate sector
·                     Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams
·                     Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
·                     Excellent communication and presentation skills
