The Position
Advantage banking is the Bank’s
Premium Banking proposition within Retail Banking customized for successful,
High Net Worth individuals.
These individuals may be employed or
may be entrepreneurs. They cut across salaried individuals, business people,
small, medium and large corporate executives, expatriates, senior government
officials and politicians.
We offer tailor made financial
solutions that meet the individual needs in the midst of a dynamic economic
environment through, highly personalized relationship management, dedicated
centers for convenience and privacy and superior customer service.
The Head of Advantage Banking will be
responsible for overall leadership, management, growth and profitability of the
High Net Worth portfolio as well as the implementation of an efficient and
effective operational risk management, customer service and sales culture.
Responsibilities
·
Drive and implement the Bank’s
strategy for High Net Worth business segment and grow revenues.
·
Drive customer growth of the High Net
Worth business in customer base, assets, liabilities and profitability.
·
Develop and implement customer led
propositions for the High Net Worth segment by developing a pipeline of value
adding customer solutions which are consistent with the business strategy, to
include customer experience, products, service offering and business stage
proposition.
·
Design relationship structures,
recruitment, training and deployment of High Net Worth Banking teams.
·
Guide Advantage centres and Niche
suites to ensure that they constantly provide superior levels of customer
service.
·
Manage and build the Bank’s Advantage
Banking brand equity in the market.
·
Develop policy standards for customer
profiling and guide branches on customer target.
·
Ensure that appropriate internal
controls and procedures are in place and documented. Monitor the operations of
such procedures and controls; regularly review them to ensure they reflect
changes in product, systems, policy or regulations.

Review the lending risk and manage
the unit’s Portfolio at Risk (PAR) within set Business levels.
·
Manage account migration and
provisions to ensure that they are within acceptable, set business levels.
·
Manage train, coach and develop a
high performing team.
Qualifications
·
University Degree preferably in a
Business related field from a recognized institution. A Master’s degree in
Business Administration will be an added advantage.
·
Have at least 10 years’ experience in
Retail Banking; 8 years of which one must have had management level experience
in an affluent / High Net Worth service sector with below responsibilities:
1. Sales and Product Development
2. Customer Service and Relationship Management
3. Banking operations, Credit Analysis and Administration

Thorough knowledge of Retail Banking
Products & Services with extensive Banking Industry knowledge.
·
Excellent interpersonal, and
negotiation skills with the ability to network, generate new business and
develop strong business relations.

Strong leadership skills with
demonstrated competencies in championing high performance management.

A good understanding of Risk,

Bancassurance Sales Manager
The Position:
Reporting to the Head of Sales and
Business Development – Bancassurance, the role holder will be responsible for
the insurance business growth and development in the designated Region to
generate revenues to support the Bancassurance growth strategy.
Responsibilities

Offer oversight in the execution of
Bancassurance business strategy at assigned Regions coordinating consumer
awareness and supporting staff in Sales Activations.

Drive the achievement of the set
financial targets while delivering consistent, seamless and trusted customer
service to ensure customer retention and loyalty.

Work closely with the Branch
management team ensuring that set Bancassurance targets are met.
·
Provide requisite support to
Bancassurance teams whilst ensuring adherence to laid down processes, policies
and procedures.

Champion Bancassurance cross-sell
opportunities across the Regional Branches.

Formulate plans to harness business
opportunities at assigned regions and support in implementing these
initiatives.

Qualifications
·
University degree in a Business
related course
·
AIIK Diploma or ACI Diploma (minimum
of 4 Credits is preferred)
·
At least 7 years’ working experience
in insurance marketing or relationship management in the Insurance industry
with good understanding of motor and non-motor insurance products
·
Proven sales track record within
Banking, MFI, Insurance and related industries will be an added advantage.

Good planning and organization skills
with the ability to deliver effectively under strict deadlines

Risk & Compliance – Assistant Legal
Manager
Reporting to the Legal Manager, Risk
& Compliance, the position is responsible for assisting in the
implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of compliance activities of the
Company with established law and regulation.
The job holder will assist in
ensuring the Company is up-to-date with any existing, proposed or new
legislation and that the compliance requirements to be met by the Company are
in compliance with legislation.
Responsibilities
·
Provide support in ensuring that each
subsidiary/division/department/unit of KCB Group follows all applicable laws
and regulations.
·
Analyze and disseminate the
compliance requirements of existing, new and/or revised laws and regulations.
·
Provide advice in relation to
compliance matters as contained in the legislation.
·
Conduct internal compliance audits
and examinations to ensure compliance.
·
Liaise with relevant
subsidiary/division/department/unit of KCB Group where legal risks have been
identified, to develop mitigating measures and implement remedial action.
·
Formulate legal compliance checklists
and matrixes to be used for undertaking legal compliance reviews to ensure
compliance by the Bank.

Conduct legal risk analysis and
provide legal support for new and ongoing Bank projects.
·
Provide legal support in research,
drafting and review of Bank policies, product terms and conditions.

Prepare appropriate legal risk
reports for use by management.
Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Law
·
Post Graduate Diploma from Kenya
School of Law.

At least 4 years’ post admission
experience in dispute resolution/litigation
·
At least 2 years’ experience in legal
drafting
·
At least 2 years’ demonstrated
experience in legal communication and advocacy
·
Excellent interpersonal,

Investor Relations Analyst
Job Purpose:
The Investor Relations Analyst will
facilitate continuous analysis and monitoring of key market, industry and Bank
specific performance metrics to enhance effective two-way engagement with Investment
Analysts, Fund Managers and KCB Investors with the aim to grow liquidity and
fair valuation of the stock.
Responsibilities
·
Collect and analyse data from
different units within the bank to develop investor presentations ensuring
material information is shared in a timely, consistent and clear fashion and in
accordance with regulatory requirement.
·
Analyse and communicate the financial
performance metrics of selected listed Companies and Banks monitoring impact of
key initiatives
·
Point of contact in the preparation
of the integrated financial and performance reports. Financial and performance
metrics’ and cascade to the team in a timely manner or as per SLA.
·
Working with other Divisions within
the Bank, coordinate the preparation for the Annual General Meeting.
·
Coordinate meeting requests between
the Senior management team and Analysts, Fund Managers and Investors.
·
Collate and summarize monthly analyst
reports and feedback on KCB.
·
Manage and update on a monthly basis
the content on the Investor relations portal on the KCB Group website.
·
Maintain a comprehensive Analyst,
Fund Manager and Investor contact database.
·
Preparation and completion of all
function payments and monthly monitoring of the budget.
·
Ensure compliance to the Bank’s
policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Daily Responsibilities
·
Participate in one on one meetings,
conferences or calls with investors and analysts.
·
Draft responses to queries on key
bank performance measures from analysts.
·
Collect data used in the preparation
of the monthly and quarterly investor relations reports and presentations.
·
Facilitate the procurement and
payment processes for the function.
Qualifications
·
University Degree preferably in Business
related field from a recognized institution. A Post graduate degree and/or
relevant Banking qualification will be an added advantage.
·
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in
Financial Services Industry is desired with thorough knowledge of the Banking
products & services.
·
2 years’ experience in a Financial
Research & Analysis role within the Investment Banking/ Brokerage sector.
·
At least 2 years’ of Investor liaison
experience is preferred.
·
High proficiency in financial
statement analysis and financial modeling.
·
An appreciation of Risk Management
and knowledge of Internal Controls.
·
Strong research and analysis skills
with ability to synthesize, interpret and present data.
·
Team player with demonstrated work
