Public Relations & Media Relations Executive

Job purpose

Reporting to the Assistant Marketing Manager, Public Relations & Communications, the PR and Media Relations Executive will coordinate the communications and PR strategy so as to promote a positive and endearing corporate image through the media and other available channels of communication.


·         In liaison with the Marketing Management, coordinate both the internal and external PR and communication strategies.
·         Assist the Marketing Manager, to execute a comprehensive communications and PR plan for the company, its products and services
·         Build strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients, partners and the media
·         Monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns across all the platforms, providing timely feedback and reports on the same.
·         Research, prepare and place the company’s press releases and print advertisements on targeted media.
·         Assist in the execution of the company’s corporate events to promote public relations and corporate image
·         Maintain the historical files on company’s PR events and other administrative duties in the department.
·         Monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs for PR opportunities.
·         Collate, analyse and evaluate media coverage and provide timely reports for efficient decision making
·         Promote news stories and features to the media
·         Coordinate studio or location photography and videography
·         Coordinate with the marketing team to implement advertising strategies and promotional campaigns.


·         Degree in Mass Communication / Journalism
·         Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations an added advantage

·         Excellent interpersonal, communication and report writing skills

Key Account Executive
The Marketing Department at PEVANS EA Ltd seeks to bring on board passionate Key Accounts Executive to implement brand visibility in key markets hence create awareness and encourage participation.
He/she will develop, implement, track and optimize the countrywide bar and places of entertainment branding project (s).
Reporting to the Assistant Marketing Manager, Advertising.


·         Identification of new opportunities, initiation and deployment of branding programmes.
·         In liaison with the marketing manager, develop business plans that meet business objectives in the target market areas
·         Execution of the business plans and marketing initiatives to meet customer needs and increase brand awareness
·         In liaison with the relevant department, negotiate, draft and measure performance of service contracts
·         Build and maintain strong business relationship with business owners to create sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships
·         Ensure the effective and efficient execution of marketing activities and strategies in key markets
·         Collect market intelligence information and data that can be used to develop marketing strategies and drive greater brand visibility
·         Monitor, Measure and provide timely reports on performance of all the branding initiatives and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
·         Initiate and close deployment process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding client requirements, explaining product service and capabilities.
·         Prepare contracts in liaison with the legal department to draft and send out contracts to clients;
·         Competitor analysis; Contribute information to marketing strategy by monitoring competitive products, trends and reactions from clients o
·         Accomplish marketing and organization mission and objectives for entertainment branding by achieving set targets as needed and optimizing approved budget.
·         Collaborate with relevant marketing department especially creative to create relevant content so as to optimize user experience
·         Conduct on-site audits of on regular basis


·         At least three years’ experience in a similar role
·         Business degree in Marketing or Business Administration
·         Strong negotiation skills
·         Passionate
