Stores Assistant
The Stores Assistant will be
responsible for stock control; warehouse inventory and periodic stock
reconciliations and document filing (GRN, supplier’s documents). Ensure
reliability of quantities against physical stock. The role prepares weekly and
monthly stock report.
Responsibilities

Receive materials and supplies, store
them in assigned locations and distribute them according to Pamoja Life
procedures
·
Maintain records of all incoming and
outgoing materials
·
Supervise packing, loading and
unloading of all materials
·
Ensure availability of storage space
and maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse always
·
Ensure safety and security of
materials
·
Ensure that only authorized staff are
allowed to receive supplies
·
Prepare periodic stock reports and
assist in carrying out periodic inventory audits
·
Immediately report losses, damages or
discrepancies
·
Ensure that all records including
inventory lists of Pamoja Life items and equipment are updated and easily
available to authorized users
·
Ensure that the periodic inventory
reports are prepared as required internally by Pamoja Life i.e monthly,
quarterly, and yearly.
·
Supervise casual staffs
·
Responsible for organization storage
and warehouse of equipment and materials including proper use of documents,
monitoring and accurate reporting of stock level.
Qualifications
·
Diploma in Supply chain management or
comparable training.
·
Secondary school level with minimum 2
years of experience in Storekeeping.
·
At least 1-3 years’ professional
experience in the logistics field.
