Tech Products Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

·         Act as a communication link between business and technical sides of the business
·         Manage requirements gathering and write the technical and functional specs of envisioned software and systems.
·         Craft and maintain development plans and associated user stories that clearly define functionality or feature targets and acceptance criteria
·         Define resources and schedule for project/program implementation.

·         Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals and milestones.
·         Communicate feature status regularly with internal and external partners and management, ensuring that issues are appropriately called out to keep delivery on track
·         Identify risk and mitigation opportunities and contingency planning relating to project scope, schedule, and resources
·         Present reports defining tech projects progress, problems and solutions.
·         Lead the development team in product delivery by prioritizing production.
·         Demonstrated ability to gather and turn business requirements into technical requirements and scope projects
·         Organized with keen attention to detail
·         Ability to lead a team, mentor others in technical execution and project management
·         Excellent communication and presentation skills


·         At least 5 years’ experience in the relevant field.
·         Bachelors degree in BBIT, Computer science, project management or other related field
·         Strong familiarity with project management software and issue tracking software such as ASANA, JIRA,
·         Redmine or equivalent will be an added advantage.
·         Experience in using Source Control (SVN/Git). Significant experience of designing and developing web solutions using open source technologies, including Linux, HTML5, MySQL
·         Proven experience of Web Services integrations via API’s (Rest)


Main Duties

·         Enter all financial transaction details into accounting system on real time basis
·         Raising LPOs to suppliers
·         Verifying supplier invoices
·         Banking receipts from customers
·         Reconcile supplier statements
·         Prepare payments to suppliers
·         Raising invoices to customers
·         Preparing, verifying and dispatching customer statements
·         Chase client account for collection
·         Petty cash custody, requisition and budgeting
·         Raise cheques and verify details of the same
·         Finance Auditing
·         Filling accounting documents


·         University Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting:
·         CPA(K) or ACCA
·         Excellent technical knowledge of budgeting, cash management, financial statements and financial analysis processes
·         Written and spoken ability to communicate effectively
·         Must be a good team player
·         Responsibility and accuracy in the completion of received tasks
·         Ability to solve urgent matters and work under pressure
·         Flexibility, especially in the period of month/quarter/year-end closing
·         Reliable, proactive approach to entrusted tasks (thinking outside the box is a plus)
·         Experience with major accounting systems
·         Microsoft Office skills a requirement
