A Non-profit organization located in the outskirts of Nairobi is looking to recruit a Program Officer.
Position Summary: This position is a day-to-day hands-on position responsible for providing administrative and technical support to ensure effective and efficient operation of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

·         Proposal Writing
·         Knowledge of Project funding procedures and guidelines and apply them in Resource
·         Mobilisation
·         Responsible for overall Project Implementation
·         Report writing
·         Preparing training materials
·         Responsible for developing the Curriculum for development and training
·         Liaise directly with partners and foster mutually beneficial relationships
·         Effective Monitoring & Evaluation of all project activities to ensure timely progression
·         Coordinate the administering of scholarships

Qualifications for the Programme Officer Job

·         University Degree
·         Post graduate Certificate in Project Management.
·         Minimum of 3 years of relevant operational experience in project management
·         Interest in Health, Wellness and Business Enterprise
·         Effective analytical, interpretation, summarizing and data presentation skills
·         Proficiency in computer and standard software systems, such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and project scheduling computer applications
·         Excellent communication (both verbal and written)
Salary scale from Ksh. 30,000 but will be commensurate with education and experience.
