Sigona Golf Club enjoys a rich heritage dating back to 1938 when it was set up. Today the Club has over 1200 fully paid up playing members who regularly patronize the Club’s facilities.
The Club boasts a modern, recently refurbished, club house, a lounge for conferences, meetings and private functions, a board room, swimming pool, as well as ample parking. Our catering facilities are of very high standards.The golf course has been to championship standards. Sigona’s eighteen-hole, country-style golf course has some of the most beautiful fairways in Kenya and also prides itself on diverse flora and fauna. The envy of many golfers in Kenya, Sigona offers a challenging but rewarding golfing experience second to none in Kenya today.
In an effort to diversify and offer variety, the club has put up 28 accommodation suites, all finished to high standards. These comprise of 24 deluxe rooms measuring 20 square metres, all en-suite with excellent views of the course or the courtyard/ gardens, as well as 4 studio units measuring 53 square metres, all with a panoramic view of the golf course.
To ensure the success of the new accommodation venture and deliver excellent satisfaction to our guests and return on investment, the club is seeking for outstanding individuals with passion to excel to fill the following position of a Front Office Supervisor.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Front Office Supervisor main role will be to supervise and control all front office operations ensuring that revenues are maximized by providing excellent customer service.
He will ensure a warm and cordial reception to all our guests, ensure that check in procedures are strictly adhered to, be available to deal with clients’ complaints, ensure effective and speedy check out facilities, ensure set reservations and front office standards are adhered to, ensure proper staff management and any other duties that may be assisgned by management from time to time.
o Diploma in Front Office Operations or related from a recognized institution
o Computer Literate
o Experience in working with a POS system
o At least two year experience in a busy 4-5 star hotel l in a similar Position
o Strategic, planning, problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Team supervision experience.
o Be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment
o Excellent listening skills.
o An experience and understanding of accounting and mathematical skills.
o Friendly, social and pleasant personality.
