Job Title: Field Program Manager

Position Overview: Access Afya’s commitment to the continuum
of care in informal communities has resulted in the creation of field based
programs and activities.
These maybe through the
Healthy Schools Program, Healthy Factories Program, and the implementation of
Pop-up clinics.
The Field Programs Manager is
responsible for:
1. Managing Healthy School
Program strategy development, planning, implementation and reporting duties. In
this role, the Manager will be responsible for managing all stakeholder
relationships, managing budgets and necessary financials, and constantly
monitoring the quality of service provided. He/ She will also build pipelines
and partnership opportunities for growth and expansion of the program
2. Contributing to the
development of Healthy Factories Program strategy and planning, but solely
responsible for the implementation of all events/activities. As part of this,
the Manager will work with the Business Initiation Manager to engage existing
contracted factories, and identify new ways of using field activities to engage
with new factories
3. Overseeing the planning
and smooth implementation of Pop-up clinics (these may be run by the marketing
department, Healthy Schools or Healthy Factories)

Education and Experience:
Required:
- Bachelors in
Public Health, Program/Project Management
- Experience with
leading programs for a minimum of two years
- Experience
managing and developing teams
Desirable:
- Masters in
Public health and experience with program management
Skills required for the
position
- Excellent level
of computer literacy (MS Office, & basic databases)
- Exceptional
organizational skills
- Excellent
communication skills – both verbal and written
- Demonstrated
experience in relationship management
- Demonstrated
ability to develop and implement new systems and work processes
- Possesses an
independent and resourceful nature while structured and systematic in
approach
- Strong
attention to detail
- Demonstrate a
positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work
