Assistant Human Capital and Administration Manager Job in Kenya

The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) was established by The Government of Kenya through the Anti-Doping Act No. 5 of 2016, with its powers vested in a Board, headed by a Chairman.
The key mandate of the Agency is to carry out Anti-Doping Education / Sensitization Campaigns and Doping Tests.
The Agency invites applications from suitable individuals to fill the following vacant position:
Assistant Manager, Human Capital and Administration
Vacancy No. ADAK/1/2/2016
Number of Posts: One (1)
Grade ADAK 4
Salaries Scale: 133,500 – 181,200
Duties and Responsibilities
(i) Planning, organizing, managing and control of the activities of human capital and administration;
(ii) Initiating formulation of human capital management policies;
(iii) Initiating preparation of department work plans;
(iv) Implementing human capital management policies, rules and regulations;
(v) Overseeing the updating of the human resource database;
(vi) Coordinating implementation of human resource information system;
(vii) Advising on succession management and human resource planning;
(viii) Initiating development and review of Career Guidelines;
(ix) Planning and coordinating office accommodation; and
(x) Analyzing the effectiveness of these policies.
Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade an officer must have:-
(i) Served in a comparable position for a minimum period of three (3) year;
(ii) Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Human Capital Management, Human Resource Management/Development, Public Administration / Business Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
(iii) Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Human Resource Management/Development, Public Administration, Business Administration, Management Science or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
(iv) Certificate in Strategic Leadership and Development Program lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution; and
(v) Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.
